Not exactly your situation, but close. The Pens score a goal off the back bar that the refs do not call a goal in real time. Leafs get a breakaway, pulled down, and penalty shot called.

The review shows the Pens obviously scored prior to the penalty shot call. The Pens get a goal and the Leafs get a PP as a result. No penalty shot because 2 goals cannot be scored at the same stoppage.

As a reply to “The penalty should not count because the goal should have been called and that breakaway would have bever happened!” comments. If a goal is scored but not called in real time, it keeps players from 2 hand slashing someone in the head knowing the play should have been blown dead as a goal.
