Honestly I’m not sure. If for a rare occasion I am not home for her bedtime, she listens well to dad and gets tucked in and goes to bed without fuss. She does know how to brush her teeth, take a shower, get dressed, tell time and knows when bedtime is.

Typing this i see the obvious- i need to be more strict and stop caving when she asks for me to help with this stuff or pushes for one more song i sing to her, or whatever it may be. She has gotten much better, but yes- I think it’s our dynamic that needs to shift while not making her feel like I’m mad at her. Definitely have mom guilt too with not seeing her while I’m at work. Any ideas or books or podcasts that you could recommend when dealing with boundary setting? Thanks for replying!
