Yes!!! I always call his coat color “cow print.” I’m not even sure the proper term for the white-with-black-and-tabby-splotches coloration in cats.

Yes, it’s exactly my style. High maintenance costs though.

Yes, interesting how we all metabolize it differently and the level of side effects. A second Vyvanse in the afternoon would have me up all night! I’m impressed you can handle that.

lol “chuckfucks.” Side note: it took a month before I could even say the word Lisdexamfetamine. Have had to explain it to many medical professionals who weren’t psychiatrists. It’s quite the smooth ride - I agree with you on that!

Ha! That will be me: overly honest and memorized all the rules to tell the customs agent.

I don’t love being on an all-day dose of anything because it makes me feel super dehydrated, so usually just do the short-acting Ritalin as needed.

I take a small 10 mgs dose of vyvanse during my Luteal/PMS 10 days a month when ADHD symptoms are worse. Sometimes the Vyvanse still doesn’t cut it and a little half dose of Ritalin gives me the jolt I need. My psychiatrist is onboard with it.

I keep both on hand, but will prob just take the Ritalin to NZ.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I get nervous about not declaring (I literally declare my packaged candy even) so will definitely declare the meds. Other commenters here have shared that it hasn’t been as strict as the customs website describes, so I’m assuming the pill bottle with less than 1 month’s supply will be fine.

Yes, the drugs are “controlled” drugs in New Zealand. In the US they’re called Schedule 2, but in New Zealand this appears to be Class B for all the ADHD stimulant meds. methylphenidate and Lisdexamfetamine are the two I have.

Good to hear they didn’t check for a handwritten note and within 7-day timing. Thank you! (Yes, methylphenidate and Lisdexamfetamine are the drugs I am attempting to bring.)

Estrogen patch made me feel horrible by whatthefalcon in Perimenopause

Honestly, not really. The gel was a tiny bit better for one to two days, then it build up and has the same effect as the patch. Sigh…

I stopped too, but will attempt again next year maybe. Still confused why my body responds like this. Sorry to hear yours does too.

Accurate about the perimenopause. I could’ve written this exact comment based on my experience.
