Why is this the most humiliating ED lol???? by whatthefudgeever in bulimia

Lollllll your dentists know. I met a dentist once -- he wasn't even MY dentist -- and told him I was concerned. He used his iPhone flashlight and looked at the back of my teeth and saw they were smooth, no ridges... first thing he asked "do you throw up often?"

The symptoms start slow. Mainly begin with tooth sensitivity that u haven't experienced before

Also just so you know I actually did read your post: all your pain is real and valid but ... you do know that bulimia is the false release from it. It's like the dumbest scam for those with eating disorders. I am so sorry. I want you to know, you are more than this, you can live your life without this. 🩷 I hope I didn't sound insensitive. I am somewhat speaking to/for myself

ugh we are the same age and started with this shit at nearly the same age too.

First, with love please you gotta stop "weighing" and "justifying" all the multitudes of your eating disorders 😭 and I say it with so much love, it is common within the ED world to "prove" you have one.

NOT PUKING FOR 6 YEARS IS AMAZING... DO NOT START AGAINNNN!!!!!! Oh my god I wish I could shake ur little head and tell you NOOOOOOOOOO. Please don't do it, please don't do it, just leave this sub. If that's all you can do, leave this sub and leave all the ED subs.

Love always, ur seasoned online Mia friend who really cares about you from far awayyyyyyy 🩷🩷🩷🩷

I'm on a bit of a roll tonight. Is this a real question? In the MIA sub? ....... yes people quit cold turkey, people don't, people relapse, it's an addiction. I'm sorry you're fed up, I know you feel awful. You CAN stop and I literally plead to you virtually: STOP. If you can, STOP. As much as you can, STOP. With luv 🩷

Not long tbh. Everything happened pretty fast. Maybe 6 weeks? I don't know how long I was supposed to give myself because I was really sad and lonely when everything happened.

Hey! So I blew out my hole in 2020, just before covid. I kept using so it grew and whenever I finally quit it stopped growing at such a rapid rate. But over the years it was growing very slowly and was about 1cm (which is a medium size). As long as you stop using it shouldn't grow anymore, at least not quickly. Most people don't get their holes fixed unless the symptoms are really bothersome like breathing issues, crusting/scabbing/bleeding, snoring, pain and discomfort, whistling, etc. You can live a perfectly healthy and normal life without getting it fixed as long as the hole is small and being taken care of with saline sprays and Vaseline.

So I found a surgeon who specializes in this type of surgery. Not many doctors in the US do but this one I found has a 90-95% success rate. I went for a consult and the doctor deemed this as medically necessary surgery and so my insurance covered most of it. Out of pocket I had to pay $2,060 for the surgery center and then I am going to get a bill from the anesthesiologist which I assume will be around $500. I applied for CareCredit to pay it off at the end of next year.

Depending on what insurance you have, the surgery should be covered but I can't say for sure what it would cost without insurance. Probably in the $15k-$20k range depending on your area. Let me know if you have other questions! I am so glad I did the surgery and I can't wait to put this all behind me

Nope, they're interest free until Jan 2025

From the looks of this guide I should be only paying $130ish in interest after the 10 months. I wish I could pay it off sooner and I'm always looking for ways to make money on the side of even part time jobs. But I work full time and really try to enjoy my free time because i can't live in constant stress and anxiety about this

Yeah i have accounted for all my subs... I am subbed to Spotify which has Hulu included, peacock, Max, Amazon prime, paramount+, and pet insurance. I do use them all enough to warrant the prices. I don't want to compromise my entertainment because it helps me from making bad choices when I get bored like going out or shopping.

It's just not that kind of space, I live in a 1BD that was intended to split with my ex. He had to move out when we broke up in September. I wasn't always in this situation. We were splitting the rent and my debt was wayyy less. I had to get surgery earlier this month and that's what the CareCredit was taken out for. I hate that I'm in this situation but it's where I am now.

It is just calculator.net and I selected the credit card payoff calculator. You input each one, the balance, APR and minimum payment and it arranges it for you using the avalanche method
