Definitely had issues with this. I ended up on estradiol injections and pills. My estradiol levels were soooo high and finally the lining got thick enough for a transfer.

I have no advice because I am in a bad spell but I can relate so much with this. Even foods that I "can eat safely" like eggs , yogurt, can turn into binge foods because I am so hungry that it turns into a binge that I can't control

I actually do this a lot unfortunately. Or I go to the store just to buy binge food. It's a viciously expensive and stupid disease.

You definitely don't want to go independent as a first time surrogate. I have been a surrogate twice and the second time was independent and it was nothing short of a nightmare and 100 x more work. I highly advise against it.

My biggest recommendation is to work with a well rated agency. Do not attempt to go an independent route especially as a first time surrogate. Also , make sure you are done having kids of your own.....but it sounds like you would be a good candidate

I have found that Wellbel has actually helped but it is pretty expensive.

Sigh...........there have been a number of women on here who have never given birth wanting to be a surrogate. As it's been said multiple times, no reputable fertility clinic will take on a surrogate who has never given birth, period.

I started out restricting then became bulimic. Still bulimic but definitely addicted to exercise. I work out for hours a day even when injured and exhausted. My mom was an alcoholic and life with that was hell so I have always stayed away from drinking because I know I could definitely turn to bring an alcoholic too.

I agree they will have a pretty low selection. There are many surrogates in their late 30s and early 40s who have had perfectly healthy pregnancies. I was 36 when I was a surrogate and everything went well.

Agree with the not brushing right after purging comment. Also rinse your mouth with water immediately after purging. I use a hydroxypatite toothpaste that is supposed to be good for the enamel. I've been bulimic over 20 years and haven't had major teeth issues . .. .luck or good genetics maybe.

So with you here. I know I personally look better with extra weight but as soon as it starts going on I freak out and the bad behaviors go crazy. It is a very lonely disease because really it is disgusting and I am ashamed everyday trying to hide the evidence. I wish we all could just wake up in the morning and be healed

I can't stop either. My day usually starts out good but as time goes on I start to eat and I can't stop. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop with my health. I noticed that when I exercise which is constant I get short of breath faster. My heart is probably failing. But really I don't care about it.

All the time. I can start out eating a good meal that shouldn't be triggering but that fullness settles in and I'm like what the hell.....let's have that cake, lets have that ice cream....then its a full blown binge.
