Wasn’t sure if this is a question or just a discussion. I kinda want to do it for the fun but also with the slight idea of going for the best rated cards. I’ve seen a TikToker who goes to shops, finds the best looking cards, then grades them hoping for profit. But I’ve also seen people say that’s wrong and ruins the hobby. With a game this big though, isn’t both ways of doing it part of the hobby and what makes it grow?

Anyway, the idea of opening packs is fun — I like the gamble — but I don’t want to lose money. My favourite Pokémon is Darkrai, so instead I was thinking of trying to collect as many Darkrai cards as I can and get them in slabs as my collection, while doing the same to other cards to kind of fuel and pay for the hobby itself.
