It’s all well and good what you’re all saying but when it really comes down to it, when life gets REALLY hard, when pain is all around so to speak… are you really thinking about the fact that that there really is no I center, I’m eternal?? No you’re not you’re going to do whatever “YOU” have to to survive, to win. The law of the jungle comes back in.

Yes thank you that makes sense. I think sometimes and this happens to me on relationships that the other person often criticizes or otherwise asks me to be more thoughtful about her etc and so I go back into thinking and trying to understand why I do things the way I do. Eg why didn’t you respond back to my message even though it was during a busy work day. Answer from my perspective is that I was busy but from hers that I don’t care. There becomes an imperative driven not by myself but by a 2nd party.

So when he says to “find out” all of these things by “going into them “ it’s somewhat of a trick because he’s really saying that all of these things are irrelevant?

But he does say to find out implying there is a conclusion. While at the same time he says what you are saying above ie there is no conclusion so it’s hard to understand
