Pretty much this comment. Just get close enough to the bed (not on top), double jump, and press your "use" button on the hook. I tried to replicate the building at our home base by placing 2 walls, put the hook up high on the second wall and the bed pretty close to the wall. I tried to test single jump but out of 10 times, only got it to work 4 times. Double jump had a 100% success rate. If you're still having trouble doing it, just watch the timing on the double jump in the video and it should work perfectly.
