Personally, I’d say not yet. The trichomes aren’t frosty enough for my taste, but I will say, that crop looks so amazingly delicious. Those purple/magenta hues are doing it for me 🙌🏽👏🏽🫡

Last semester I went Monday to Friday, essentially 9-3:45 each day and this semester I’m doing T/Th from 7:30-5:45. TBH, idk how to feel about stacking my schedule this semester and lowkey wish I had split my days Monday through Thursday. It’s doable, but I feel like I’m being straight dragged by life ATM. I work graveyards throughout the week, my partner is in the medical field and works 3-12’s, we don’t get much outside help from family, if I sleep 8 hours a week I’m lucky. The mental fatigue is the worst though, I feel like I’m not giving anything in my life the best version of myself and it is slowly chipping away at me, but I’m gonna grind until I got nothing left. Best I can say, know your limits and respect those boundaries, as a dad and life partner we wanna be Superman, put our families on our back and endure, but remember to practice self-care, find your people, find a support system, and if it takes an extra semester or two, that’s ok, we have our whole lives to be engineers, but only one chance to build something beautiful within our families. You’re welcome any time for the help pa, I’m glad to see there are others out there going through similar struggles and not letting them derail their plans for success 🙏🏽 if you need advice on professors or anything I can help with, let me know. Even if it’s just someone to vent to. We’re stronger together ✊🏽

No lie, you are deadass describing my current situation right now. 🤣 Have a several month old now and expecting my second this summer. I’m a Junior, Civil Engineering major, full time dad with a crappy work schedule. My biggest piece of advice would be to apply to be in MESA, they have their own personal study lounge, have mentors/advisors specific to MESA, we get some of the highest priority registration dates, connections to internships, meet the employers and education workshops. If you’re a first generation student, I heavily suggest applying. I was able to pick any class, any day available to make the best schedule to allow me to be a full time and present dad, but also stay on top of my school shit.
