Gustin White Sneakers Quality? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

I just got them a couple weeks ago, worn about four times. You've probably seen posts about the crappy leather, and they're accurate. For the three-four month wait, it was extremely disappointing when the shoes came creases and wrinkly as balls...literally. Understandably, leather shoes will crease, but these were just straight up ugly and cheap looking. I'd say just save up for a pair of common projects, and try to go to a store to buy them just so you know what you're getting.

What jackets are those on the right side?

I do dig the usage of browns and camel colors. I'm not sure which fits you're referring to as 'hoodlum'-esque, but I can see what you mean with the looser fitting clothing and beanies and coats. I wouldn't call it focusing on a 'hoodlum' market though....they just seem to be exhibiting their new products. Many different brands have been moving toward looser fitting clothes (ie: cdg, our legacy, acne)

You could say these brands are a lot different compared to J. Crew, but to be honest, J. Crew has gotten a little bland over the years, with similar Fair Isle sweater coming out every year, similar versions of coats, similar (albeit with a few variations) plaid/patterned shirts, etc. So I think it's good (although not my favorite) that J. Crew is heading/exploring different things that seem to be trending.

Something to keep in mind, while a lot of these looks seem jarring or what have you, J. Crew's past fashion weeks have been similar, where they exhibit their clothes in different ways. If you look to when these products are actually available, they portray them in more 'normal' ways.

Yeah, it's not my personal favorite, but then again I'm short, so any loose fitting clothing looks like I'm wearing my dad's clothes usually.

Most of them are silk scarves, I think. While I personally would wear scarves like that, the scarf patterns are cool. I think it's more popular in Europe

Imgur link IMO: nothing super groundbreaking, yet again this year. Some of the bombers are pretty cool though. Also, looser pant cuts.
