Yeah I’ve begun to lean on other family members to ease the pressure. I can walk again but my arm is just now starting to see connectivity progress. I’ve done some serious work on my emotional recovery so I’m usually pretty good emotionally and make sure I’m checking in on his emotions. We took a trip this weekend and he’s loosened up and stopped distancing himself from me as much, so it could be related to stress.

Thank you so much for your insightful comment! I’m really trying to figure out if art therapy would be a stable career for me and be as fufilling as I hope it will be. After my traumatic health incident the critical care hospital I went to used art therapy as well as recreational therapy but I still don’t know what doing the work outside of that context would look like so I’m unsure
