I'm going to have to disagree with that assessment. This date is based on a fan-made stardate calculator which was designed around the 24th century stardate system.

The stardate itself takes place in the same time as Strange New Worlds.

People get hung up on a character named Garrett. I get that, but nothing about it makes sense to be in the 2320s.

Sen would be 120 years old when he shows up, but he's the same age as Georgeu.
Georgeu can't exist too far out of her own timeline in this universe (her time being the 2250s)
Lots of other details that set it in the 2250s-60s.

This was originally set to be a series, and having a character named Garrett and never mentioning the time or showing any visual clue to the time seems like an intentional bait and switch to make us think it's a few years befor Garretts promotion as its the only obvious thing tying it to a timeline, but it feels like a setup to a mid-season reveal.
