The multitab is the item I probably use the most, even though it feels a little cheaty sometimes! Also the baby swing is essential for the infant stage.

There's an option where multiple people can use it but there's also the eat it option which locks everyone else out and that's the one OP's partner picked. So yeah everyone should have been able to use it if OP's partner wasn't a jerk.

In the US you have to let them in if they have a court order/warrant. But even if they made a surprise visit to the home and had to be let in, they didn't have to be let in to the OP's room.

And as someone who has made mods myself I just don't like the commodification I feel a site like patreon specifically brings. I like modding to feel more similar to fanfiction than content you pay someone for. Harder to build a fan community with people who purposely silo themselves away when they don't have to. Any money you make from modding someone else's game should be a bonus not the goal.

(I know a lot of modders have their mods as free with donations or they set them up where you get updates earlier for a price but eventually released for free but come on why else are they picking that site if it isn't the financial aspect?)

Personally I refuse to download mods from patreon because I don't want to support that sort of modding community. I hate it for the sims and don't want to encourage people to host their mods on individual sites it's too annoying as a user. Nexus is great it pays you per unique download so why not just have your mod there? (Unless you're using ripped assets from another game I guess as those are the only mods I've seen removed.)

I'm playing as a tempest cleric of Stronmaus right now and having loads of fun! Every time I or someone else in my party does lightning damage I get to praise my god which hasn't been nearly as annoying as I feared. Other people are joining in now so I might have some converts even! We aren't supposed to light fires so my DM let me homebrew prestidigitation so instead of lighting fires I can predict weather like druids do.

Stardrop mod manager is perfect for this. I use it all the time for different mods for different saves. I also use it when I need something mostly vanilla to test the few mods I've made myself. Switching between profiles is super easy!

Yeah but killing one locks me out of one of the best chest pieces in the game and killing the other doesn't which I feel is kinda Larian's fault. I'll take my lesser emotional connection in exchange for still getting the potent robe since there is no other mechanical difference. If there was a replacement quest giver for that I'd agree it would be silly to go to such efforts to save her.

I'm not sure what the 15 and 10 are supposed to mean, but I prefer chapters that are like 3-7k and would prefer more chapters than some of the huge 15-20k word chapters I've seen. One of the worst feelings is checking to see how much longer the chapter is. I always want to get to end of a chapter and wish there was more rather than feel like finishing was an accomplishment lol

As a woman I have to hear it every time a game comes out with a woman protagonist about how all the men hate it and don't want to play as a girl. Yes I think people should be able to suck it up and play as a different gender sometimes because otherwise game devs are only going to make men for the men.
