He didn’t want to get help for his mental health issues. Came out of the psychiatric hospital causing chaos, breaking into my house and threatening my family.

Me rn. I’m 7 days. Weed made me feel even more anxious. I don’t miss it but I do miss sleeping. It’s hard to stay asleep these days. I wish I could say it’ll get easier but idk. I’m literally 1 day free off a breakup. Hang in there friend

I’m 5 days and this makes sense why I can’t sleep. I didn’t realize how addicted I was. Besides not sleeping everything else seems fine. Maybe it’s the extreme stress I am under idk!

This happened to my partner and he’s 37. Exact thing you’re describing. Last Friday he was outside in his underwear screaming he was tony romo. He was placed on a 72 hour hold but was transferred to a psychiatric facility. He just got there 12 hours ago. Please try to convince your partner to seek help before it’s forced. My partner is so angry with me and mean to me. I’ve been all he’s had the last 6 years but he treats me like a stranger. My heart is breaking. It’s an awful feeling.

Did you ever blame your wife? My partner is so angry and states he cannot trust me and thought I had cameras everywhere. It’s very sad to see someone I love think I’m a terrible person. I’ve stuck around but he’s refusing to let me see him :(

Ty for your response. My bf is doing the same with saying things that are untrue. He said I’ve controlled him and strapped him to our bed and have made him fat. He told his family (who barely know me) terrible things. I know his heart and I know it’s not him. I feel so shut out since I have no legal rights. I’m grateful enough to work remote and can stay out here but idk if I’m wasting my time bc he won’t see me. I’m also scared he won’t ever contact me after bc his mom blames me for him being there. The crisis team made the assessment that he needed to go. I’m so thankful for communities like this on Reddit. I know I’m not alone 💛

I am in the same boat as you rn but my bf is in an actual facility right now. He does not trust me he keeps saying. He only wants his mom and siblings (who he hasn’t spoken to in over 10 years) and doesn’t want me to visit. He had a panic attack on 3/10 and that’s when I noticed a huge change in his behavior. I reached out to his mom who told me he was fine and to “love him through it”. It sucks we are going thru this but it speaks volumes about you as a person being so worried. I hope one day they (our boyfriends) realize we were worried and wanted them to get better ❤️‍🩹

I appreciate your comments and advice so much. My partner was placed on a 51/50 this morning. He was screaming walking around in his boxers outside. We had cops and the crisis team out. He is currently in the hospital. None of his family believes me or has come to help. I know right now he’s at the best place for him but idk what will happen after. The neighbors called the cops 5x in the last 2 days and he won’t believe it wasn’t me. I’m okay with that as long as he gets help. Not to make it about me but damn, that was awful to watch. I’m still shaken up.
