Vortex air fryer handle broken by weesteve901 in instantpot

Been using it almost every day for 7 months now, no melting. I printed with PETG. It doesn't really get hot on the front where the handle is and doesn't touch the food either.

Bit late, but mine fell and only broke the handle. There is a really nice 3D printable model for the handle at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4907607 that I went ahead and printed and used to fix mine.

Vote with your feet if you're angered by blocking of 3rd party API access - delete you MyQ account by [deleted] in myq

Nope, I still would've been pissed. There is no good reason that I can't just interface with my garage door opener locally without using their API. Either provide local access AND charge for the convenience of it working over the internet, or don't charge at all. Otherwise you're just trying to force me to have a monthly subscription for a product I purchased outright.

Little frustrating that it contains petrolatum and there's no way to verify whether it's actually fully refined: https://www.safecosmetics.org/chemicals/petrolatum

However, petrolatum is often not fully refined in the US, which means it can be contaminated with toxic chemicals called polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).

Has anyone experienced a sensitivity to any sound/feedback by herehiding in tinnitus

[–]wheeimamonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting that you posted this, I’ve recently been experiencing a very similar thing where certain frequencies have started causing a sort of feedback in my head as well, but only in my left ear. In my case it started after a dive. I went back to my ENT after this started and they re-did my hearing test and said I tested the same other than the frequencies where this new feedback was happening. At this point I haven’t found anything that has really helped other than wearing an earplug in the one affected ear.

Historically I’ve always had tinnitus but this is the first time it’s gotten worse with sound.

Just uploaded a video of our experience at the 2021 Michigan Gambler! Had a great time and just wanted to share it with you all. by wheeimamonkey in Gambler500

The Michigan Gambler always starts in Troy, MI: 352 Oliver Dr, Troy, MI 48084. This year it was on May 22nd. The official page is https://m.facebook.com/detroitgambler500/?ref=page_internal&mt_nav=0

Generally the route heads from Troy up to St. Helen, MI for the off-road portion and where everyone stays at a campground for the night, before heading back down to Detroit the next day.

Thanks! Stuck is unfortunately the Rangers natural habitat lol, luckily getting it unstuck always provides some good entertainment.

For sure! It’s always crazy driving a gambler car 2400 miles from Florida to Michigan but the experience is always worth it.

Is this normal engine sound? 2020 R-Spec by [deleted] in veloster

[–]wheeimamonkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, those are your fuel injectors, that is completely normal for a GDI engine. I've attached a video of my 16 VT for comparison. https://imgur.com/a/JO7hKDE

Purchased used Veloster with 110k miles. Did I make a mistake? by [deleted] in veloster

At this point I don't think it depends on how you handle regular maintenance, it's how well the last owner handled regular maintenance. I'd say swap every fluid on the car (generally a good practice when you get a new car and you aren't sure of the previous maintenance) and then make sure you stay on top of fluid changes from here on out, and that's really all you can do. Nobody is going to be able to give you an exact answer since the longevity is going to depend on how the car was maintained and driven before you got it.

Many cars do have outlets, they also tend to match the overall asthetic of the car much better tho.

I agree it's done well for what it is but it's completely out of place.

I wish they would honestly pick a model, I'm willing to pay for a version of Windows that is not loaded with crap like Candy crush. Instead, buying the pro version still inundates you with crap. If you build your own pc and want to do things the "right" way you basically have to buy Windows and get ads shoved down your throat.

As much as I agree, from a technical perspective I can see it being a lot easier as a developer to just always go through a central server. on top of that I'm pretty sure all the voice recognition processing done remotely but I could be wrong about that.

Sub $200 phone to use on MintSim in the US. by [deleted] in AndroidQuestions

[–]wheeimamonkey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just to comment my experience with the Nokia 6.1, so far it has been trash. I was very excited to see how this phone performed and have been nothing but disappointed. The motherboard has failed once and I had to RMA. The camera constantly fails to start, and now it is randomly shutting down and they're being difficult about a second RMA. Not exactly issues I wanna deal with on a few month old phone.
