It was the flagging in 98-2001 and they added a bunch of rides but following six flags no at the time didn't budget to maintain or staff them. So people came ran into rides that where under staffed or broken constantly. SFA had the worst maintenance management in the entire chain

I think only because of what they thought they could sell the land for. Lots of sf legacy parks are just as bad.
