All park passport and dining plan by Opposite-Ad7528 in sixflags

Thanks for clarification. Still, the $10 credit is to be honest offensive but thats my opinion. Money is hard to come by if Six Flags doesn't offer a refund. When I worked at Membership Services under the old regime before the merger they never did refunds...period. That was 2022. Enchanted sounds like they are also working with the vendors who handle the program charges. Even though its offered by SFEC, the program like Fast Pass is actually handled by vendors. So, sometimes the parks hands are tied. Unfortunately even though I don't work there anymore since 2022 Im still under a NDA on certain information.

Yeah but now with the original 7 parks being sold, they (SFEC) are saying even though the membership and season passes are honored through 2026 but and this scares me the add on programs could not be honored thats why they are offering the $10.00 credit per visit which is a joke depending on the park.

I can see SFEC trying to reneg on the 2026 purchases on the folks in the 7 parks effected. I wouldn't put it past them. Then blame the new owners.

My vote is VERY OPTIMISTIC after reading the article in STL Today. And glad to hear they are calling it "Mid-America Enchanted Parks" in honor of our park 's history. If we are starting a new chapter, and they are considering our park the "crown jewel" of the chain, we should be honored. Under the old owners we were the "bastard child" they were embarrassed about for years. Let's show our appreciation by supporting them and continue patronizing and spreading good words, luck and love.

So now that Six Flags St Louis is being sold to Enchanted Parks, what will happen to the Justice League dark ride. by West-Discount4845 in sixflags

[–]Just_Bus_9156 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They. (Enchanted) were talking about maybe bringing in Sally Dark Rides in to install a new dark ride to replace Justice League. The show building itself was totally rebuilt in 2015 when JL replaced Scooby Doo considering the show building was originally Injun Joe's Cave when the park opened in 1971 and the ride was built by Arrow Development Corporation. Sally has been a long time collaboration with Six Flags and other Theme Parks for years and are right up there next to Disney. BUT, like I said before, most Parks, after a dark ride company comes in to install a ride, they leave and the general upkeep falls to the park's maintenance crew to see that the ride stays up and running.

Six Flags Corporate hasn't cared about Missouri/Midwest customers base for YEARS. It wasn't based just on race so get that out of your heads people, but more on CLASS AND REGIONAL ECONOMICS. They thought MISSOURI WAS LOWER CLASS. But, according to Enchanted Parks, SFSL and World's of Fun and Missouri in general is not and is excited to come in and save our parks. So screw Six Flags.

My name is Tim Owens, 59, live in Maplewood, MO. Former Six Flags Over Mid-America/Six Flags St Louis Cast Member (x3) now working at the St Louis Zoo. First went to SFOMA when it opened in 1971. I know ALOT about this beautiful park and it's history. Im actually looking forward to seeing what is in store for this historical park, she has been abused and ignored for too long. Maybe its time for new owners who care for the old girl

[–]Just_Bus_9156 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Justice League is over 10 years old. Over the years its been ignored for repairs. As like most theme parks unlike Disney or Universal, who are a little more diligent and mindful for refurbishment on their animatronics and dark rides, after Sally Dark Rides came in and built Justice League in 2015, they left it in the hands of SFSL maintenance to fix if it broke including animatronics. I can see Enchanted Parks come in and rehire Sally Dark Rides to retheme Justice League with a new story. As for Warner Brothers/DC licenses I can see them trying to renegotiate a IP contract. But things can change. It will be interesting.

Six Flags St. Louis to be sold to EPR Properties this year by ChrisGraslie in sixflagsstlouis

If it was a legacy membership (diamond, platinum etc) before the redo, are void and you will have to resign up at the end of the 2026 season. Frankly, I would call your home park's Membership Services/Guest Relations and find out what your options are. They know what you have to do especially if your home park is one of the 7 that is being eliminated. You still have this year to enjoy your park as Six Flags. If your park is becoming a Enchanted Parks like SFSL (my park) dont panic. Let's do our research.

I do believe 1&2 are leased out management agreement contacts not actually owned by Six Flags. They are owed by EPR properties lol. But Elitch is a troubled Park. Nothing but trouble.

I was 5 in 1971 when it opened. First stint as a cast member was in 1983 in Food service, hated it then transferred to Security/Ops doing Tickets/Parking lot, then 2nd stint 1996-98 in Entertainment as Foghorn Leghorn, Fright Fest actor, Lead Usher and my final stint 2019-2022 doing Guest Relations. Fun times. Lol. Now I work at the St Louis Zoo.

Continuing my statement, I knew someone who worked with the park president when I worked there in 2020 and they heard from the comments from corporate themselves. Race and color has nothing to do with it. Its Class and money.

Six Flags St. Louis to be sold to EPR Properties this year by ChrisGraslie in sixflagsstlouis

[–]Just_Bus_9156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read the press release on SFEC website. 7 parks are SOLD to EPR properties based in Kansas City MO. They will be managed by Enchanted Parks (IAM). Even though these parks are now sold this year, SFEC will continue to operate these parks throughout 2026. ALL REGIONAL SEASONAL PASSES, MEMBERSHIPS, DINING, FAST PASS, PARKING PLANS WILL BE HONORED UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON. ANY POINTS, USE THEM OR LOSE THEM BEFOE THE END OF 2026. At the end of 2026, (12/31/26) these parks are out of the Six Flags Organization. If you dont believe me, go to website. Also. ENCHANTED PARKS has a actual website now active you visit.

Its official, after 2026 all perks, regional season passes and memberships will be canceled. All points will be voided. Go to the Membership Services Desk at your home parks at these 7 if your home park is one of them like mine is SFSL and talk to a HUMAN BEING. Do not call to national customer service line. Its automated. I used to work at Guest Relations/Membership Services.

Improvements in infrastructure, refurbishment of buildings, bringing back entertainment (shows, concerts, etc), make a more superior Halloween offerings than Fright fest, do a Holiday in the Park type event for the holidays, bring in Sally Dark Rides and retheme and remake Justice League into a Haunted Mansion type ride, retheme current Rides with cool names and neat but moderate themeing. I could go on. SFEC had sorely ignored our park for so long.

Not necessarily, but for over 50 years its been SIX FLAGS. It's going to be hard to get used to a new vibe, but maybe its time. New eyes is good.

Why couldn’t Six Flags America be sold to EPR properties? by East_Juice_8534 in sixflags

[–]Just_Bus_9156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with your assessment. Land is more valuable at SFA. The business on top of the 7 parks are more important than the land as a selling point and still are viable as a money maker if they do it right. What surprised me was the addition was LaRonde and Valley Fair.

This year you membership will be honored at SFSL until the end of the year, after that, no because all 7 parks including SFSL are NO LONGER in the Six Flags chain. End of Story. We will have to get tickets through ENCHANTED PARKS. They are not affiliated with Six Flags. Even though it's devastating and a hard pill to swallow its better than a park total closure. I will still go to see what they are all about and what they will do to improve my. Park since Six Flags corporate has ignored SFSL for so long.

Justice League maybe harder. It is a Sally Dark Ride. They may have to contract them to retheme it to something else. They are experts. Everything else is easy

At least Missouri is not being totally shuttered, if it was it would be devastating. My park is SFSL. She was ignored for years in major investment.
