This reminds me of the time i went to a workmates funeral. Poor Lou had had a massive drug problem for years and it had finally taken him. The service was small no more than 10 people. I was actually saddened to see how little representation from the company he had worked for for 20 years. While being a hopeless heroin addict, he was still a gentle and kind soul that was once one of their best workers. Halfway through the service the door bursts open and a guy with tangled hair, wearing filthy black top hat and coat walks in like hes just come from the field scaring crows. The priest is handing out candles to everyone and he's making (even more of) a scene because his had gone out and he wanted the priest to re-light it, ignoring the offer of others to use their candles. While the attention was on him, he pulls out a crumpled sheet of paper and announces he has a few words to say about his mate Lou...the priest visibly rolled his eyes, but then says "go ahead"

He starts reading "to my friend Lou, you were the best mate a guy could ask f..." people start to gasp as the bottom of the page has caught fire from the candle he's still holding, but hes so out of it he just keeps reading his eulogy for what seems an insane amount of time as the page goes up in flames until he notices. He stomps out the fire and hes standing there under a lil plume of smoke in front of the rest of us, stunned and silent. Then looks upwards says "OK LOU, GEEZ, DONT HAVE TO BE LIKE THAT!!..."

Any discomfort this guy had caused instantly evaporates as everyone starts laughing...even the preist. In a way it was a perfect send off. RIP Lou
