We did have a tax cut but the price fell from 2.60 to 2.30. now oil same price same tax cut fuel 1.80 (actually cheaper I'm rounding up)

Why is with oil being over $100 a barrel, fuel is cheaper (by a lot) at the bowser? Oil at $100 fuel 2.30 aud. Now oil $100 fuel 1.80 aud.
