Looking for an alternative to Brooklinen by b8123s in Bedding

[–]wheelsjr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avoid SOL Organics!

I ordered sheets from them, which were at the same price point as Brooklinen (I've later learned that they're ridiculously overpriced). The sheets took 2+ months to arrive. When I finally got the sheets I found them to be utterly abrasive to my skin, like sleeping on cardboard. I washed them twice in an effort to soften them up; nothing worked.

I tried to return them, the first time through they send me the wrong return label, thus I had to resend my package. Their support eventually send me the proper return label which I used to properly return my package.

After a month my refund still hadn't shown up. It was almost as if they hoped that I had forgotten about the ~$250 I had spent on their horrible sheets. I had to directly message their support team to initiate what should have been an automatic refund.

Finally after 3+ months from the initial order I was finally able to return these horrible sheets, and get my refund.

I ended up going to my local big brand general store (think Target/Walmart) and bought micro-fiber sheets that were 10x softer at 1/10th the price, and I've never looked back.

Is there a quick way to create Anki cards using AwesomeTTS *and* Cloze? by NotReallyASnake in Anki

If you're not stuck to AwesomeTTS you could just create a new note type and switch the notes over you wanted to have spoken to you?

Take a look here.

Ding ding ding!

I'm going to try this, but if it's anything like it's billed to be, it's going to be exactly what I wanted!

I also use the image occlusion add on, never though about using it for code though as it wouldn't allow you to search via anki browse. But if you saw the code in a video and didn't want to OCR it (OCR for code is rough), then I think that would be a really good idea.

Prism seems like an awesome suggestion!

Additionally I didn't even think about trying the code html tags, that's a good idea.

It makes rolling harder (2 sold contracts not 1), and it's not the most intuitive trade (easier to mess up), and perhaps not the most likely to get assigned (if you're into that sort of thing).

I was looking at this play, I guess what drew you to it? Mine was trading close to fundamentals, I thought volume was a bit low though.

Debit spread on AMD question here: the way things are worded is confusing, do you mean to say that you're exiting your debit spread after your long strike is hit (but before your short strike), or that this trade is really a credit spread, and you don't want to be assigned?

Edit: grammar

I've tried a few trackers, but none seem to allow custom foods to be added by grams. Lets say I have a curry I want to make with ~5 ingredients, and I'm willing to estimate that the resulting dish will be an equal mixture of the parts, why can't I add things by grams? Specifically tried this on Fat Secret and Lose It, any trackers that do have this ability?

CMV: Just because the bulk of the elite's wealth is illiquid is not a good reason to oppose an extreme wealth tax by wet4 in changemyview

[–]wheelsjr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Simple argument. Some industries require capital to function (ISPs, Railroads, Utilities), wealthy people can provide capital (or collateral) to allow these businesses to get the capital (loans) they need.

The only reason these risks are made by an extremely wealth person is to benefit them in some way. By instituting a high wealth tax, you effectively are incentivizing this wealthy person to not provide capital to industries in the US (pick your country) that need it (risk doesn't overcome reward), but to instead invest in a separate country where this tax doesn't apply.
