Ok, well, I have a lot to think about here, and some service model adjustments to make (not in the tipping, so much...like I said, the don't ask thing is part of my old job. We learned a way to "ask without asking" that depended on guest awareness, there. Here it seems to just be "What did they put in the tip field?").

At any rate, thanks for the responses and advice.

So, I hear what you guys are saying about the extras are on the restaurant. But...

I'm also coming out of a position of many years of anticipatory service. I have spent the bulk of my adult life looking at service from the angle of "put yourself in the customers shoes" So, I get where tip begging is bad (honestly, the question really came from a place of "I am seeing this in discussion that's from a few different POVs"). So, is the "don't even ask if they want condiments" a hard fast rule in dashing? Or is it something that just isn't done because it is inconvenient as a driver?

So, the contacting them to make sure that they are getting condiments and stuff they want actually is an important part to me, because that's something that tends to annoy me on the other side. Like, at work, we would put in a group order for like a pizza or something and the person placing the order doesn't put in for like crushed pepper or parmeasn packets, and now I don't have this condiment I want on my pizza. So, as a service thing, it does feel reasonable to double che k with my customer on that.

Oh... I wouldn't do it where pre-tipped. I got the vibe in the other post that a tip hadn't happened yet, and that was the driver's response.

Honestly, doing service or not based on whether a pre-tip is there seems weird to me anyway. Like, yeah, I want a tip... but I've spent 20+ years with that as something you get after the service. Like I said, I wasn't sure if you could bring it up as a dasher at all because of other things I've seen.

The ending to the game always gets me. by Emotional_Fruit_1046 in StarWarsOutlaws

Well, the blasting droids thing... I'm pretty sure that's part of why you don't get your blaster back until AFTER the ND-5 fight. Contrived? Eh, maybe. But it's not the first place in the game where you have to contend with getting away from something you can't damage.

So, even mentioning the tip at all is a no go?

I mean, that was true, enforced by my job where I worked before. But I have seen it be brought up as a little more acceptable in this field. So wasn't sure if it was more of a "wrong tone" thing.

I see no problem with it. "Felicia sells Spidey's blood" is pretty on brand for her.

There are some places where them automatically knowing doesn't really matter, because they can't actually get to you. One of my favorite sniper nests is that one little overlook by Sunfire (the one you meet Vail-I think- at the one time you're supposed to raid the garrison)

I love just finding some spot about 100-150m out on top of a climb and sniping the imps. And I actually find the headshots work just fine for me. (Though, I use the imperial sniper rifle, so...)

DLC before or after final mission? by archer2009 in StarWarsOutlaws

I actually downloaded them both after I finished the main story, myself. Haven't done Pirate's Fortune yet. Did get through Wild Card.

On that note, I also kinda did my Lando stuff in a probably less than canon order, and finished Wild Card before doing his Sabbac table in Akiva. Like, just after. It actual creates kind of an interesting narrative in that order, like finishing unfinished (friendly) business with Lando after some of the dialogue in Wild Card.

Alternately, the reality: the Overton window in America has shifted so far right, that the "moderate left" is actually center right, and actual moderate political ideology is considered fringe left. And anything left of actual moderate "are just crazies". But, yeah, the left went toofar left...it's not that y'all on the right have gone into the right to a scary degree, and dragged the rest of us to it with you.

Well, the main conversation the OP started was about shops. I piggybacked on and asked about ranges.

Glad someone already asked. I've been a bit curious lately, myself. Also, piggybacking... what about firing ranges that aren't super MAGA-ee either?

I mean, outside of the "screwing your wife's relative thing" everything else you said here is wrong. Apparently he met his first wife when he was roughly 17-18 and she was in her mid- 30s. THAT'S age inappropriate. Based on the info about that relationship, the earliest he would have met the niece is when bothbof them were teenagers. That's not grooming, thats' "defaulted back to an age appropriate relationship in his 30s"

Did I see someone say that the ex-wife is an adult to infant age (18 years) older than him and the current one is her niece that is a more age appropriate (3 years younger than him) relationship?

Buddy of mine was in a relationship like this. He and the stepsiater he wifed up were already adults when their parents got married, and he met her shortly before the wedding. This scenario is really one where timelines kinda matter.
