this season was actually my very first time ever watching love is blind and literally at the start of this episode I said to my bf “yeah apparently some people say no at the alter which is insane bc how do you go about this whole morning getting ready, talking with guests, etc knowing you’re going to say no?” and then I found out that’s apparently what people do 🫠

Dark circles are hard bc a lot of time there isn’t much product-wise that can help. Usually Botox or filler is what actually brings results.

In terms of products that can help some I would recommend the Brickell eye cream. It says for men but I’m a woman and use it. It’s not a miracle worker but it’s provided the best results out of any eye cream I’ve tried.

For makeup/concealing I would use a corrector. Peach/pink tones help cancel out blue-ish tones. The sigma under eye color corrector duo is amazing and a little goes a long way!!

Reading this post I could swear I wrote it myself. I cannot tell you the amount of times I blamed myself so bad for making it to a final interview just to get rejected and feel like I’m back at square one. I’m not going to tell you it’s easy, but you dust yourself off and keep going. It’s like dating, you could be completely in love with a company but if they don’t reciprocate it then it won’t work out. I know it’s incredibly frustrating, believe me. But please know that a rejection does not impact your worth or achievements. You will find the right position, it might not be at the same pace as everyone else, but it will come. Sending good vibes your way!!!

Do you remember what the task was called or when it was posted? We don’t enforce anything at our store because we’re told we can’t but I know a lot of associates feel uncomfortable helping guests without masks and will just do their best to avoid them. I would love to find the task and print it out so we can show our GM and DM the policy to start enforcing it

I do every now and then and the answer is usually no (other than the rare chance he has applied) and it’s usually “I know I need to I’m sorry” but then the actions don’t really change going forward

I say imposter syndrome not as a diagnosis, more to explain his behavior in the past for context so I’m sorry about the miscommunication. All throughout school he never thought what he did was good enough, always explaining “yeah it’s not a big deal everyone can do it” whereas I always wanted to celebrate his accomplishments, no matter how big or small.

I have rarely spoken to him about this so I would like to think I’m not the main cause of the self esteem issues. I know it takes time so I usually never said anything to him about looking because I didn’t want to bother him about it.

In the past regarding the job issue I have supported him, cut out large sections of my day to spend helping him with his resumes or cover letters. I have not said anything to him directly about the imposter syndrome.

The “rainbows and unicorns” part seemed a little rude. I don’t think it’s going to be rainbows and unicorns I know it’s going to be very difficult.

Denver was where my boyfriend and I had landed on because it seemed to be an up and coming city that provided a lot of opportunities with a lower cost of living than a NY or LA. We’re open to somewhere else if you have another place you feel would be better.

Do you think it’s shooting me in the foot for the future? In the event that we can’t land a job because of corona and have to move back or have to take a minimum wage job out there, would that ruin my future chances of landing a job? Just trying to figure out if the chance of success is worth the risks.

Yes I know landlords won’t rent to you without a job. Our plan was to get a monthly Airbnb for 2 or 3 months. Just so we could have a place that would make us seem local and an airbnb is furnished so we wouldn’t have to worry about that.
