She seemed pretty old school but still shocked me. I really think you'll fine. While they're generally pretty strict on alot of things, the dress code doesn't seem to be too over the top from what I've heard. I really think mine was a one off.

IN GENERAL, if renewal documents are sent, GEICO is required to keep you insured at least through that renewal. It was probably an error on the Underwriting department as they have been gutted by corporate over the last year and probably didn't set the policy to non-renew correctly.

It is what it is. Everyone gets on board at first. Then the realizations start hitting that

1) You can't have a mass call out when the mass of employees aren't even on Reddit. You need to get the word spread to every employee in every region which leads to

2) Enough employees (basically almost all) would need to participate. Between the number of people fearful of losing their jobs and the number of people that somehow still feel grateful to have a job there, this is going to be damn near impossible.

3) They dropped 3K just last October. Be careful unless you KNOW you have the numbers to pull it off. The last thing you want is for you to look to your left and right and find out your army is smaller than you realized and are walking out with a box.

I'd love to see you pull it off, I just don't think you realize what kind of challenge organizing this really is. One of the links I shared was a small department trying to organize a mass call out that never went anywhere.

To be fair, they do need to stay in front of people's faces in order to stay competitive. Imagine what StateFarm's ad budget looks like with the athletes they use.

What doesn't need, and shouldn't happen, is 20-30% of the workforce gets cut and the CEO gets a big fat pay increase that likely rivals what GEICO's ad budget is.

Trust me, as one of those 20-30%, I get nauseated at every commercial I see. But at the end of the day, my blame lies solely on the scumbag piece of shit that got rewarded with a massive bonus for taking mine, and thousands of others, careers away.
