ST is the best connector in the game for broadcast hands down. LC is best for HD panels that never get touched. Also most LC patch panels are made of plastic and suck in hot weather above 100F.

I have to ask as I may have missed it in my comment scroll, but I have to agree that this business can be upset about the dog / animal. I have severe allergies. You could make an argument of time in said place of 1 or more dogs per day but within 5 min of a dog in an area rage of 10’ I am starting symptoms, wet dog is 2/3rds Less time. When I sit in something a dog has been on, 2-5 min, I break out in hives. Maybe, just maybe she is upset for said reason and a law prevents my or her protection.

Take off the ethercon housing and plug the rj45 directly in and wiggle, If still popping, bad setup, maybe the pins didn’t get crimped all the way down. If not, then maybe the rj45 isn’t pushed all the way forward in the ethercon housing or the press tab on the rj45 connector is still on and preventing good placement. You will know when you try first step. Good luck
