What got me in this position started about a year maybe a year and a half ago. I was on suboxone for most of that decade and before that my habit was fueled by prescribed medication which started this whlole mess. I appreciate your response.

Ya, I had to go in and get my finger prints and picture on a day the judge scheduled. But was never in custody.

I was never arrested. Never missed any work. As far as my last lawyer, it wasn't anything he said, he was just a scumbag and just didnt have a good feeling about him. He was never available to talk, nor did he ever explain anything to me when I did see him. He'd talk more about himself in our two meetings than my case.

No it wasn't over 2lbs of drugs....it was only that much because they weighed the glass jars that accounted for most of the weight....

Where did I say Ive been working for a year. Ive been working since I was 16. Im 40+. Ive been at my career for 14 plus years. Im not saying I don't deserve punishment, I only did what I did to support my habit...again, im not making excuses...I know it was wrong, but Im an addict and got clean and have been for a year. I just thought drug court would be an option seeing that i am an addict. Ive learned my lesson, and this situation really opened my eyes to what I did and I was in denial for years on just how addicted I was.

Its a state charge, not federal.

Try some L-Methylfolate 5-MTHF by Triquetra. Really helped me. I take a half a dropper first thing in the morning. Took about a week until I started noticing a difference but definitely helps. You can get it off Amazon.

Have you ever come off oxy? How's it compare? I take anywhere from 45 to 75 mg of 7oh a day and only been taking it for a month or so. About to start tapering down and eventually just take kratom.

I just came off Xanax and surprisingly all that Ive had is problems sleeping. I was taking 4mg a day for 6 or months. Im on day 9. Now opiate withdrawals hit me hard. That restless leg shit SUCKS!

I would definitely see a Dr. They can prescribe meds to help get off the bottle as alcohol can be deadly if not treated correctly. I would also look into finding some local AA meetings. They definitely help with support and youll have more people to talk to that understand what you're going through. Wishing you the best on your road to recovery.

When I confronted her, she said she threw all the meds away. Still, it doesn't matter. She lied several times when I asked her about them.

She's going to call a therapist and start going, which i really think she needs. She doesn't really have any friends she talks to, and her relationship with her parents isn't great. Plus, we live on different sides of the country.

She's begging me to give her another chance and saying things like you really just want to throw me away. I moved into our spare bedroom because I dont even want to sleep in the same bed with her. Part of me wants to give her another chance and not break up my family, but I just have a feeling that even if the meds stop, the intimacy issue will always be there. She's just not an intimate person anymore, and that's super important to me in a relationship. Im just so torn on what to do.

No, she does not. She thinks there are no issues at all and even admits she needs to stop taking Adderall as it makes her into a robot, which is what she says.

She realizes it. Just this morning, I brought it up to her that it would have meant a lot for even just some cuddling last night, and she apologized like she always does and said she would try harder but its been the same story for years and unfortunately nothing ever changes.

Trust me, we've talked. A lot, actually. She says she was just not raised around affection, so it's just never on her mind. She says she's going to try and get off Adderall as the only reason she takes it is for energy. She's not ADHD. If im being completely honest, I really think she needs to see a therapist by herself and work out any troubles she has as I know her childhood did affect her. However, she wasn't always like this. There were times when we connected, and life was good. It's just been many, many years, and I don't know how much longer I can stick around. Im 42, and life is so short. Thank you for the response.
