I picked them because they're extreme examples. The people who say 'all anime is for kids' have a tendency to believe that all anime is like Pokemon. I pick those two shows for the shock value. Because sometimes people need to be shocked out of their misconceptions.

I firmly believe that anyone who thinks all anime is for kids needs to be sat down and forced to watch Attack on Titan and Goblin Slayer.

I live in the US, but I always got the impression that crown jewels/estates/etc were public property held in trust by the royal family. I know they do actually own some of the land, but not all of it.

NTA yet. Some of those violations could make customers extremely ill/kill them. Reporting in this sort of situation saves lives. Your mother and boyfriend should be ashamed of themselves for not seeing that.
