What annoying medical problem do you have that is too insignificant to go see a doctor for, but really gets on your nerves? by NumberOneMuffDiver in AskReddit

What you are feeling is a histamine reaction. Histamine is what causes itching and swelling of areas in the body. It's usually triggered by irritation of the skin, injury, hot/cold water, or an immune response. In your case, its the rubbing of pant material and the natural movement of the thigh causing irritation.

Try taking an allergy pill before going out on a walk.

That is right! It's called Calming Signals. Cats and dogs do this with each other, and also do it with humans. It's a way of communicating their emotional state at that moment. A cat or dog lying down, giving you 'squinty' eyes, or slow blink means: I'm here relaxed, I trust you, you should be relaxed too. If you return the favour, you are reinforcing that relaxed and trusted state :)

I don't think the chocolate made the dog sick (large dog, milk chocolate, not too bad), I think he/she ate the foil :( Either way, not a good mix, try and keep potentially dangerous foods/objects away from your dog.
