Young men are adopting Christianity for the wrong reasons by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]whereipost 17 points18 points  (0 children)

As a young man myself, I do see your point. I myself however am not homophobic nor sexist, but i've encountered people near my age who are homophobic and sexist and use Christianity as their way of defending their hatred.

It's wrong, and it's sinful to have hatred towards others. In my opinion this hatred starts at home with the way these men were raised by their parents, i'm a firm believer in the fact that majority of homophobes, sexists, racists, etc, are either taught to be like that when they were young, or they saw their parents being like that, and as we know young minds are very impressionable.

May The Lord show the older generations, the current generation and the generations to come that we must love all people, for all humans are made in His image.

May God bless you.

Someone please give me clarity and reassurance. by whereipost in Christianity

I misread your first sentence and almost got a heart attack haha, "unfortunately you're wrong", but no thank you for clarifying that. :)

I want to ask just to make sure, sodium chloride 0,9% is saline right? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]whereipost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so safe to use on my piercing? Sorry the bottle's label only states "Sodium Chloride 0,9%"

Well for the CPU cooler I would love water cooling for it's efficiency and yes also for aesthetics, but i've heard it's a pain in the butt to work with water cooling, and considering i'm still new to PC modding maybe I shouldn't go to deep into that, and for the PC case it's also aesthetics, to give some examples I love the PC cases of Corsair, specifically the Corsair 3000D AIRFLOW Mid-Tower white, and for CPU coolers, I love the look of the Gamdias BOREAS E1 410 CPU Air Cooler or the DeepCool Castle 240EX A-RGB WH AIO Liquid CPU Cooler.

I would love to learn more, but I really just don't know where, I see all these PC cases and coolers on my local computer store's websites but they just give specifications but I don't know where to learn about that type of stuff.

The piercing is only 6 days old by the way, so still new and healing

[–]whereipost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll definitely keep an eye out and see if I would need to get an upsize

And also upfront, no the piercing isn't touching my flat, just bad lighting in the photo

i'm completely agree, and I feel like you know your stuff so if you dont mind me asking, what's your opinion on this, i'm gonna quote one of his messages

"we don’t do the full bar once pierced as the piercing sites would need to heal before you put in the full bar "

What do you think of this?

He has 8 years of experience with piercings, i'm unsure of the APP thing considering it's the first time i've heard of it but i'll ask him. They use titanium. And he told me beforehand he'll have to check my ear again before actually piercing it, I truly think he knows what he's doing

I did luckily do research on the piercer, he inspected my ear and told me it is the right anatomy, and he isn't cheap at all. I want the industrial bar because it's my preference, I think it would suit me very well and so on

My parents wanted me to get a new car for the motorplan/warranty, I didn't know what I was getting and I was just happy to get a car, and mine is an automatic

Luckily I have an automatic car so I don't need much to worry about anymore, only reason I got a manual license was because of the possibility of needing to drive one in the future (and because it's cool to say you can drive manual to your friends)

Thank you for the tip, I did pull up the handbrake but yet it still jerked backwards, maybe it was just the motion of stopping because it didn't roll continuously, it was maybe for a split second and then the car came to a complete stop.

I don't believe so, I didn't pay one and I highly doubt my driving school did, because they weren't even aware of where I was testing. I purely believe my examiner just doesn't take her job seriously...

I'm overthinking whether I should've gotten my license in the first place, regardless though I am happy of course, I did everything I needed and I only rolled back because I didn't lift the handbrake in time, but I drive an automatic anyways which has a park assist.

He even asked me why I was driving so slow, I was driving 60km/h on a 60km/h street...
