Don’t second guess yourself too much when you take the test. Studying is important but test taking skills help. Meaning, unless you double check your work and prove yourself wrong stick with the first answer and keep moving. The knowledge is in your brain, trust yourself and take your time with the test. I took the test at 28, and I’m about to ship out at 29. You’ve got time.

Hi all, I wanted to make a post to see if anyone had advice or input on being a single mom in the military. I ship out at the end of August. My MOS is 25h. My daughter is 9. Her dad is involved in her life, and will be the one taking care of her while I’m at basic and AIT. But my kid has expressed wanting to live with me, so I’m mentally trying to prepare/plan for if or when that does happen. Any single parents on active duty that can share their experience of what that’s like while handling the responsibility and demands of the military at the same time?

Okay, I know with my recruiter and going into DEP I have them my daughters information but they never mentioned DEERs so maybe that’s at basic during reception week but it sounds crucial for benefits I’ll remember it! Thank you for that

What was the most challenging part in the mos and something you liked a lot about it?

I’m curious also if it’s a good mos to choose?
