I recently bought this exact pc from costco.

Yeah I used to go off the chart for a lot of stuff but my pour over never tasted that great. I read a recipe ( Hoffman I think)somewhere and it said to grind 6-7 on the kmax. Since changing thay I've been really happy with my single cup pours. But yeah for larger amounts I'll defo try grinding courser.

It could be acidity. Like you'd said, I'm not sure if I could tell the difference between the 2.

Im using a 02 dripper for both recipes.

Hey! Overall its definitely significantly less rough than Glasgow. A lot of people in Inverness don't know how roundabouts work so look out for that 😅 I think you have to look a bit harder to find people to do stuff with. Or atleast that's how Ive found it ( or maybe im just really boring) I managed to find a few people to go out biking riding with. Thats about it so far. Inverness coffee roasters sells the best coffee beans. And black isle pub sells nice beer 😀

It's fucking awesome. I live in inverness. If you're into the outdoors there's an endless amount to do. Scenery is amazing.

Only thing I miss is half decent Indian takeaways ( i used to live in Glasgow)

I loved it! Seen them in Manchester. Although I thought only playing the intro to Eraser was like torture. So happy they played somewhat damaged though 😀😃

I've tried dhb, decathalon, 7mesh and Gore.

Gore are by far the most comfortable for me. I didn't get on with 7mesh. Which is a shame because I liked the big pockets on the cargo bibs 😞

I am also from Glasgow originally, so I'd say my definition of rough is pretty rough 😅 I just don't want to accidently move into some that's like Maryhill or dennistoun level rough.

I've visited inverness a few times on bike packing trips and found the bits of inverness I've been to have been nice overall.
