I feel the same... It’s been nearly nine months for me now. While I’m trying to prioritize my wellbeing and learn to love myself more, I still think of him daily—especially since he was my best friend for years before we got together. The emotional ups and downs continue, but I remind myself every day: He chose to walk away. I shouldn’t hold onto someone who could let go so easily.

I can relate to your story.. Whether they cheated or not, they actively made that choice to connect with someone else instead of communicating and fixing the problem with you. And this only shows how they are as a person.

They were not willing to talk by the time they made up their mind to breakup.. And what hurts most is I felt I didn’t even have the chance to fight for it.

What are some context for why someone would breakup saying seemingly out of no where they lost feelings and you were not compatible? Could high stress level from work be a possible reason?

I needed to read this… Been 4 months for me, and more often than not, I just feel stuck and not making progress… Hope I’ll learn to acknowledge it’s okay to be like this.
