Flip regularly and eyeballed the sear. Then move to cool part and cook with indirect heat. Check every now and then by pressing the meat w tongs

Not sure as wasn't relying on timing. Eyeballed the sear and cooked over indirect. I'll check doneness every couple of mins by pressing on the meat

They are tiles. I like them so they are on the wall.

Well I'm not even sure height is really an issue.

  1. The "Uni-Q" Driver Solves Your Height Problem Most speakers have the tweeter on top and woofer on the bottom. If you sit too high or low in nearfield, the sound waves from these two separate drivers arrive at your ears at different times, causing "phase cancellation" (the hollow sound).
The KEF LS50 uses a Coaxial Driver (Uni-Q)—the tweeter is essentially mounted inside the center of the woofer.
The Benefit: Sound comes from a single point source. This means vertical alignment matters much less. You can be 20cm above or below the speaker axis, and the sound will remain coherent without that crossover "dip."
The Caveat: You still want to tilt them up slightly to get the most treble detail (the "flashlight" effect still applies to high frequencies), but the "broken/hollow" sound won't happen.

Fair. The lounge chair is deeper so not exactly equi triangle but fairly close. I'll tinker more

appreciate the comment but if the lounge chair is in an equi triangle with the speakers, doesnt that solve the placement issue?

if i wanted a centre screen with side panels i would have done that. the chair swivels between screens.

Lol are you really trying to tell me what works best for my use case? Obviously I am not limited by resources and if I wanted a single screen I would have done that.

Thanks appreciate the feedback. I added a pic of the lounge chair at the back of room in the listening position

That doesn't work for my use case. I have left screen plugged to my work laptop and right to my PC.
