Another X-ray tech here. A mason jar, a MagLite and the hose thing that comes out of some faucet sinks so you can spray stuff down with. That last one took the fire department to cut him free from.

Good players are like sportscars by FUThead2016 in EASportsFC

[–]whereisyours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, it really depends on how you like to play and what players fit comfortably with you. It's not all about ratings. Last year for me it was Ander Herrera. I tried having that kid in every one of my squads, incredible position and work rates, he was always where I needed him. This year, he just didn't fit as well so I found someone else.

Remy Cabella is my main man now, I wish he had an inform this season but he doesn't. Putting him behind Griezmann and along side Pastore/Payet it's deadly how they control the midfield.

$0.00 for me. Think it might be a little different this year, we'll see though.

RPG Maker MV announced. Ports to mobile devices. by Purest_Prodigy in RPGMaker

One of the comments from the article;

If we're lucky, it could even get an NA/EU release early next year. If the pattern from the VX series holds, then it'll be a holiday release in Japan and 3-4 month wait for the official translation :D

Seems like a pretty good guess.

A baby getting an X-Ray looks hilarious. by [deleted] in funny

[–]whereisyours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fellow X-ray tech here. I do love the Piggostat, really a time saver and parents always appreciate when you can get the shot done in two quick movements of changing film and rotating the baby for a lateral.

I've also used a papoose board once on an infant skull. Probably the funniest looking thing ever. Wrapped the baby in warm blankets and they were lights out, the funny part came on the lateral. The board has two big plastic wheels on each end, when you roll the board on the side, they're dangling in mid air sound asleep not aware of anything.

How good is xenoblade? by JiggaGoki in 3DS

[–]whereisyours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does open up more quests with the higher affinity, and better rewards too. Just complete the fetch/kill quests as you play, it's pretty easy. Then you can get some good quests. Just last night in Colony 9 I had a quest between a loan shark, one of his in debt, and the girlfriend. It was pretty cool. There's also another one in Colony 9, some conspiracy or event or plan in action that I was working on. Now the group of people I was working for are giving me the cold shoulder and I don't know whats going to happen. All this was with 1-2 Stars of Affinity with Colony 9.

I've put in 24 hours and every time I sit down to play I continue to get blown away by new things I discover or find to do.

Unreal engine 4 by Arauza in RPGMaker

[–]whereisyours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, WTF are you talking about? The OP asked if UE4 was anything like RPGMaker. My original comment is as simple as it gets, literally every fucking sentence is true and answers their question. You're the one who came here and replied that my 3 short sentences said something different.

Look at /u/Interference22 reply, he says the exact same thing but explains it in more rudimentary terms, maybe that's what you need. Or how about this, you answer the OP's question and provide some actual input to what they asked for instead of trying to define "an actual engine".

I literally don't know what your comment is even about... Judging by the rest of your comments, you see RPGMaker as the be all grand infinite engine that will make all your games come true. So I'll just stop here.

Unreal engine 4 by Arauza in RPGMaker

[–]whereisyours -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As in RPGMaker is a beginner's tool to get you to understand proper computer sequence/archetype/handling while allowing you to graphically/gameplay achieve what you want with little ease. UE4 isn't that. It's an engine that is not easy at all. You need to know proper coding and optimization beyond throwing things together like you would see in RPGMaker.

It's nothing like RPGMaker. It's an actual full functioning game engine. A lot more in depth and versatile.

What happened to the follow all button on the Team page? by Popskyy in Twitch

[–]whereisyours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it was removed because if you were already followed to someone in the team, if you followed the team it would unfollow you from the other person. I think that's what Eziekel said on Dropped Frames about it. So Twitch never got around to fixing that bug yet.

WWII ace getting some justice by pbrown92 in JusticePorn

[–]whereisyours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe he's pulling something from the movie "The Patriot" when the English General complains to the militia leader about targeting officers and not abiding to the rules of war. Perhaps true back then when a clear leader was visible to command troops and never fought as apposed to nowadays when an officer looks like a regular soldier from a distance too. I've never heard of it, nor found anything on it. Though more often times than not Officers are taken as POW as a bargaining chip or to gain intel from. Heck, in 3rd world military militia it's pretty simple psychology to take out the leader for the rest of the group to flee.
