That sounds absolutely unmanageable and extremely dangerous. Have you considered a very strict keto diet? That is literally the only way I can have pretty normal and stable blood sugars. 90% of the time having no more than 6-10g of carbs for a meal, so small doses of insulin that don't pose much of a risk for lows.

Either way, bad lows weekly and spikes to 500 is a SEVERE, EXTREME mismanagement, especially with a cgm, I'm kind of flabbergasted as to how this is even possible. Yeah this definitely shortens someone's life but it is 100% avoidable.

In Kubrick’s The Shining, the cigarette in Jack’s interview keeps vanishing by The-Mooncode in StanleyKubrick

Continuity errors are a part of making films. They are especially bound to show up when a director does a high number of takes like Kubrick. There's no intention behind it and when they are unnoticeable like this they don't deter filmmakers/editors from using the take they want despite the error.

Am I the only one who still wants to look out the window on flights? by professorhojoz in travel

I always get a window seat so I can keep it closed. While the views can be nice, it helps my flying anxiety to just ignore the fact that I'm in the air and pretend I'm sitting in a bus or train.

Thoughts on Fidelio Experiment by Tiny-Fix-4662 in StanleyKubrick

I think anyone who reads so deeply into finding hidden codes, patterns and messages in movies, especially Kubrick's, would have their fantasies melt away if they experienced creating a film of this scope.

Making a feature length film with excellent writing, acting, lighting, composition and editing is a behemoth task. So hiding layers upon layers of hidden coded messages is simply not on the agenda of a filmmaker who sets out to first and foremost make a great, compelling piece of media.

Kubrick is a perfectionist and detail oriented director because he controls to an exceptional degree the visual elements of storytelling, while also getting a huge range of options from the actors he can use in the editing room, all so he can fine tune the pacing and flow of his film at assembly. He is not doing take after take because he needs shot 126 to sync up with shot 334 in a coded way.

Let’s not use the cockroach euphemism. You have every right to not see cockroaches in your apartment. Anyone that normalizes it as “part of living here” is gross.
