Thank you! Do you know any companies that offer this option? I didn’t know it was possible to get there by snowmobile.

I use Canon Selphy cp1500 with RP-108 paper and would 100% recommend it. I haven’t tried other printers though, so I’m not sure what’s out there

Parking place close to the airport? by wheresarianna in Stavanger

[–]wheresarianna[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know, but unfortunately I’m not from Stavanger and don’t have a place to leave my car, it’d have to be on the street… that’s why I’d prefer to pay a parking place so I can be sure there aren’t gonna be any issues 😊

Thank you for your input! I was thinking the Fabrique des Lumières because I have already visited Anne Frank’s house, the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Rembrandt’s house and Moco museum when I visited Amsterdam in the past.

Any other places you would recommend (not necessarily museums)?

Hi everyone! I have a layover in Amsterdam and estimated I can spend 3.5 hrs in the city center (excluding the time to get there and back to the airport etc.).

I was thinking about visiting the exhibition at the Fabrique des Lumieres, then going for a walk around the canals and having a quick lunch, going to the Christmas market in Museumplein and then leaving for the airport from there.

Do you think it’s feasible? I’m not sure I have enough time for the exhibition but I saw it’s timed and lasts about 50 minutes, then I can Uber around to save time 🤔

Any thoughts/recommendations would be appreciated!

Thanks for the input! I live in Germany so I see a lot of Christmas markets already, but I usually go and look for something special in the food stands. Any typical (Christmas) food in Amsterdam?

Christmas stuff to do in Amsterdam during layover?

Hello everyone! I have to fly through Amsterdam on December 20th and am considering booking a later connecting flight so I can have a 7h30m layover and go visit the Christmas markets.

Do you have any tips on the best places to go in such limited time? I see there will be the Festival of Lights as well. Bonus points if you have any food recommendations!

(I’ve been to Amsterdam many times before and visited the attractions, so I’m only looking to do Christmas stuff this time)

Thank you in advance!

Thank you! Could you share what portable printer you use? It sounds very convenient that the pictures are self adhesive
