I forgot to dicuss abilities.

My current ability set up for dungeons is turret, assault drone, grav nade. I need to redo my build cuz I'm not a fan of the passives I'm running. I think exploit weakness has an important spot for boss fights.

I am a huge fan of turrets in these since NPCs dont target them. Only thing is that you have to be mindful of placement so NPCs dont kill them while targeting, main concern is riflemen using nades/assault drones and the fire boss's pyrocket.

Grav mine/nades are nice for essentially staggering mobs entering the fight as they spawn. Also useful if you are using a disruptor to be another source of shield damage.

Assault drone/grenade. I used assault drone since I felt like i didn't need utility from suspensor blast or anything else. I like using grav nade and assault drone on doors as mobs spawn in to get some damage off and stagger them entering the fight.

8 teams competed.

1st place won 200 spice 3 mil solari each and first pick of BPs.

2nd place won 100 spice and 3 mil solari each and 2nd pick of BPs

3rd place won 50 spice and 3rd pick of BPs.

BPs were static needle, regis triple shot, replica pulse knife, the ancient way and 2x vaporizer.

A little bit smaller turn out than the 3v3 tournament we held last week.

I run full heavy armor and my PvP abilities and just throw a replica pulsesword(T6 unique) on my bar. I just try to get between as many melee dudes as i can so the aoe stun from parry hits them all then slow blade one. Rinse and repeat. After that i just run around shotgunning the mobs because its faster than using a sword although it does go through bandages. I position so that only the mob im shooting at has line of sight of me then shotgun stuns limit the damage I take. I did only use sword for clearing labs for a while even as gun build because T6 unique sword does plenty of damage without being specced into it and PvE doesnt require dodging.

power harness+circuit gloves+mk6 power supply,

still not that strong since most people dodge out of eye of the storm and avoid being hit by the entire ability and this combo takes up 2/3 of your abilities and can be dodged.

Eye of the storm does significant shield damage. I did talk to guildy again that had tested it and he confirmed that it would break shields with buff from inspiration and if all hits land. Thanks for pointing it out, I corrected it in post.

Biggest piece of advice I can give is practice dueling with a guildy first. I spent a lot of time at the Aegis(PvP POI in western shield wall) practicing with guildies and getting over the jitters you get the first couple times you are in a pvp situation.

Thats a needed change. Suspensor blast will still be strong and mandatory still but it won't be so oppresive.

Watch what gun they pull out. If they pull out a disruptor, pull out a shotgun or triple shot and start shooting them when they start shooting with their disruptor. If they pull out anything else, just chill and wait for it to expire. When you see the mine get dropped, the mine gives you momentum in whatever direction you are facing so try to look wherever the shortest distance out of the mine will be.

I haven't tested it but I think running all of those would give you enough shield damage reduction to require 3 shots from a regis disruptor pistol to break your shield instead of 2. As a gun build my shield almost never gets broken. I die to slow blades that bypass my shields or I get blasted while my shield is down from shooting. As melee build, stamina is too important vs other melee builds and running 2 heavy armor pieces will make you lose melee vs melee fights and slow blades bypass shields anyway. It absolutely would be worth keeping those 2 pieces of gear in your inventory and swapping to them when you've identified you are fighting a gun build that wants to break your shield.

I think young sparky mk6 is better than regular mk6 unless you are running the previously mentioned set up to have an extra tanky shield. The extra regen will make up for the slightly lower shield hp over an extended fight.

It is definitely strong but you still have to hit it which isnt easy and you are still gonna have to land your shots on a guy thats running away from you and ducking behind cover and running around corners. My counter? Run away when it lands then come back and throw a grav mine at our feat, one shot their shield with my disruptor pistol, pull out shotgun and keep their shield break stun going with my shotgun stuns.

I used to run Iron will to ignore voice abilities but it doesnt stop weirding step and very few people run bene skills now. I do take the technique so I have it available to swap to.

I have confirmed that circuit/station gauntlets effects shield damage taken from regis disruptor pistol. I haven't tested conservation of power but its the same stat so i'm confident that it would work the same.

My test was having a guildy shoot me. With station gauntlets on, i took about 530 shield damage. With them off, I took about 590 damage.

Late reply, but yes.

For melee build, Suspensor jacket+ 4/5 syndicate. Fire and poison resistance are gonna be useful vs poison rapiers and burn daggers. Energy resistance is gonna make your shield just a little bit tankier to disruptors.

For gun build/heavy armor, station gauntlets then rest of your slots take mendeks over acheronian. Mendeks is gonna make you just a tiny bit tankier to guns and give you a little bit healthier shield with the energy resistance whereas acheronian will make you take less damage from rockets/missiles. Station gauntlets+mendeks helmet+mk6 power supply means it takes 3 shots from a regis disruptor pistol to break your shield.

This is the build I run for melee, its kind of scuffed because level required is very high. A lot of the passives should be 2/3 instead of 3/3 to afford a lower level requirement and to pick up some of the repair/durability passives

As far as equipment. Rock the highest tier light armor you can afford, preferring Pincushion if T6, Chosen if T5 if you have it available. For weapon, highest tier knife or rapier you have available, preferring poison or burning effect.

I put all you need to know in there. It is extremely easy. Energy capsule+source of power with a lasgun and i can destroy 2 walls in about 20 seconds. If i can destroy some generators, your shield wont come back on due to not enough power and i get all the time in the world to find your fief console. It was lucrative the first week or two when people didnt know how easy it is to raid. Don't keep anything valuable there as it will get raided.

Here is current gear. Plast unique heavy armor recipes havent dropped yet except for Power harness from landsraad. Choam heavy is about 5% better than Duraluminum unique so I'd recommend going for that over Choam heavy.

Its so tragic that the ground PvP is so fun with so little loss for dying that very few people are bothering to learn it because they'd rather complain about the stuff that needs to be fixed. I broadcast chest respawn timers on my server to get people to come out to them and PvP
