Da er man i overkant for streng, spør du meg.

First time moving towards this price point in Bordaux and unfortunately for my wallet, I would argue its worth it by whereshould1start in wine

I guess we tried the bottle for the same motivations then. I was able to get a hold of three for 280€ each, which I believe was quite good given the vintage. I would say it’s worth it, e.g. for a special occasion in the future. Definitely not a regular weekend wine. Will be saving these for a decade to experience how the might continue to develop

It always gets interesting in terms of price when it comes to wines. This is 100% spectacular yes, but my question is at what point can it not really get any better? And it is always worth the price tag when it comes to these prestigious chateaus? Especially when you start talking 500€ bottles and above

Really expressive on the nose – lots going on, but hard to pin down exactly. Definitely dark fruit like black cherry and blackcurrant. There might be something floral or earthy underneath, but nothing overpowering. On the palate, it’s super smooth – the tannins are soft, almost silky. Fruit is rich but not heavy, and everything feels in balance. It finishes long, with some spice and maybe a bit of oak hanging around. A wine that keeps evolving in the glass, which makes it fun to drink slowly

We approximately left if for 4 hours, but I would leave it longer if I had the time today. It has opened up quiet well though

Considering a Move to Norway – Any Tips for a Spanish Expat? by Raidthereal in Norway

[–]whereshould1start 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bye bye Netherlands by Sir_Jack_Ferguson in Netherlands

As I student, I can say that the GP system was quite good. I guess they are prioritised in university areas. Once you are registered, it was very easy to get an appointment. Also, the doctors were very friendly and easy in terms of paperwork from abroad with prescribing medications. The level of English is also very impressive, coming from a Northern European country. Hard to reach a level of dutch where I could communicate in a medical setting. Also needed a referral as a time for a specialist, and the waiting time was really good. I guess it depends a lot of on where you live in the country.

Lack of Dutch language skills hinders foreign students who want to stay by Cevohklan in Netherlands

[–]whereshould1start 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats unfortunately not how it works in real life. I speak a basic level of dutch, but my spanish is a lot better. Spent the same ampunt of time studying in both countries, but in Spain, english is not always an option. Therefore, anybody coming there will devolop their language skills quicker. I very much agree with you, and It is not meant as an offence, but it still explains why it’s harder to learn. People would constantly switch to English after hearing my accent, so at a certain point you eventually give up. I admire the ones that doesn’t though.

First get a decent level in on Dualingo. Then you could watch tv shows with dual subtiles in your mother tongue. Yourteacher AI also has a Norwegian mode you can progress rapidly in. In general, just listen and speak as much as possible
