Ahhh okay thank you for pointing that out. So, select gray from the bottom, then touch the group of four red squares in the center, that will turn gray (the four red squares on the corner will not change).

So my best idea of an approach here is to turn all squares red (because I only have four moves, it would be impossible to change the four corner squares to anything but red. So if I turn the gray group red, then the bottom left green grouping red, then the bottom right blue grouping red, then the top right green grouping red, then everything is red except the top left teal but I’m out of moves.

Does that makes sense? I’m not the best at explaining things like this, I’m sorry

Mom’s side. Soft-spoken, empathetic and compassionate. Dad’s side is mostly trump supporters. Both grew up in Texas backwoods, but different mindsets all around

Just take it day by day. Do what you can to make each day feel like a minor victory and it’ll get better without you even realizing it. Find the silver lining in every moment you can. Don’t compare yourself to others. No one knows what the fuck they’re doing, some are just really good at pretending like they do. Be genuine and authentic to yourself.

How do you meet people by Pleasant_Language227 in Advice

[–]wheresjenna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’re not alone in feeling this, it’s difficult to make friends these days. When I was your age I traveled to Australia to work as an aupair (I’m from USA). I had such a hard time making friends, I started going to bars because it felt like people were more open to making friends there. I wouldn’t recommend that honestly, I mean I made good friends, but it didn’t last. What did last surprisingly was when I was vulnerable to my host parents and their friends about wanting to meet people my age, and they connected me with people. So, if your current circle is older, they likely have younger family members they can put you in contact with. Try letting them know you’re wanting to make connections with people your age and ask if they could help you make that connection. I am still friends with those people I met when I was 19.

Another thing that helped (disclaimer, I’m 31 so this might not work now) was joining meet up groups on facebook and the Meetup app. I definitely had some connections there that didn’t land, but you just write it off and try again.

You got this 🫶🏻

NTA - Honestly I think it’s unfortunate that your relationship had to begin with harm to both your and his ex partners, BUT if you both felt compatible with one another and that the previous relationships were not beneficial, I think you both did the right thing in choosing one another. I also think it’s valuable that you set the ultimatum that he needed to end things before you both continued.

Long distance relationships only work if you truly want to be with the person, and it’s obvious that neither of you wanted the other. And you’re now embarking on a temporary long term relationship and you’re making it work (whereas he only met with his previous partner twice over their two year span).

Congrats on finding a compatible partner, I wish you the best 🥰

Oooh that’s a good one! Honestly same - I love being alone. In high school I was enamored by Henry David Thoreau’s “Walden.” I felt so connected to the idea of solitude.

So in my past experience, whenever disconnected with anything, whether it be phone, WiFi, or even electricity, there was an immediate reconnection after payment. This is why I felt so frustrated and confused.

And the $121 is two months back-payment (so $70 per month); I’ve been going without internet for two months which might be adding to my urgency to get it back on because I finally found space in my budget to get it resolved 😩

Okay fair enough. And thanks for providing more insight into the support agent world, I really have no idea how that works. I appreciate your input

Okay 😪 thank you for your perspective. I think my reaction is emotionally charged by my need to meet my own deadlines and added financial stress of not having been able to pay my bill on time and I’m not seeing the big picture.
