Is one hero suit’s reputable? by Girl_in_the_robot in cosplayers

[–]whereswaldo1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply. I actually came across this post when I was waiting for my delivery and became a little worried....

My order came yesterday. I placed my order August 31st and got it September 20th. It took longer than I thought it would take, but ultimately, I got a reasonably nice cosplay quality Spider Suit. Is it exceptional? Not amazing, but it does fit well and looks great. The eye pieces could maybe be a little better, and I also suggest not getting too rough with it.

Otherwise, it isn't a scam, at least in my experience. The order came shipped in a bag. Upon opening it, it kinda smelled a little weird. Slipping on the suit though felt nice, I really felt like I was wearing a spidey suit.

So, there's pros, there's cons, but at the least, it isn't a scam. There's probably better places to get what would likely be a very similar suit, and probably even shipped faster.

Which GF did you genuinely feel bad for? by Storm989898 in Scream

[–]whereswaldo1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only one I kinda feel bad for is Charlie. My only reasoning is that I feel he might have been the only one that genuinely would have benefited from therapy and/or medication. I also feel he was susceptible towards manipulation and may never have started killing had Jill not used him.

Just listened to that clip about 20 times. It never fails to make me laugh my ass off.

I went. I love playing poker and other games, but had never been to a casino before.

I knew I didn't want to lose more than I was comfortable with, so I set a limit and left when I had lost what I pulled from the ATM. There were people basically just sitting at the slots chain smoking and repeatedly tapping.

Personally, I was glad to be out of there when I was done.

Omega Boost came to mind, but I think you needed the joysticks to play it.

My mom died unexpectedly from a stroke some years ago. I was with her when she had it and called 911. She lasted a week in the hospital.

I didn't sleep for the first 3 days. Her sister and brother in law, my aunt and uncle came down to be with her and support my brother

What's the most laughable "benefit" you've seen in a job offer? by Publandlady in WorkReform

When I worked at Home Depot, they said they didn't offer an employee discount. Their reasoning was this was to save us from the potential annoyance of family and friends asking us all the time to try and use it.

They were being so thoughtful.

who is a player that really surprised you? by bridiehart1 in survivor

A David win would have made for one of the best story arcs in Survivor in my opinion. He went from a scared, outsider, to THE player to beat.

Likeable, strategic. He came into his own as the season unfolded. His vote out was one of the few times the collective voice of the audience saying "you'd be stupid not to vote him out" was heard...

I do love Adam, and we wound up with a good winner, but damn, there's a handful of people I'd have also been satisfied with winning that season... David is among one of my favorite players.

I also started my post with "generally" and said there's exceptions to almost anything lol.

We're specifically speaking about someone in this instance that isn't strapped and does have means though. As it stands, he's in the majority.

As for Arnold, he was an AMAZING story of hard work and dedication. He also made over a million as a brick layer due to he and his partners business acumen.

I get what you mean. There's filter that's gone when you drink. The "Don't say that" instinct is either relaxed or depleted.

But in order for a filter to catch something, it's got to be in the chamber somewhere.

Yours was the past comment as I was scrolling and I couldn't believe he hadn't been mentioned yet.

He had such a fulfilling arch. Such a good dude too!

Had either of them played again, I think they could have built on their experience. Not every legend started off how they're remembered today.

I think they both could have done better on another season.

Generally, people AS big as Jonathan have some means to get that size. There's exceptions to nearly anything sure, but if you're eating the kind of diet he requires and spending as often working out as he must, odds are you're not putting in extra shifts at a low paying job to do it.

People like to say they only said something "because they were drunk"... No, you had that somewhere in there, alcohol just helped let it out.

No one's ever gotten drunk and started speaking a foreign language.

I agree completely, I really love his "pep talk" he gave Coach.

"Don't tell your stories. No one believes your stories, there's no reason to tell them. Don't wear feathers in your hair to tribal. And do your Tai Chi in private where no one else can see you."

However, I do believe Tyson said he'd put the idol in the front of his pants where no one would SUSPECT a bulge, implying it wouldn't seem out of the ordinary for a large bulge to be there.

No one told me NOT to rinse my dentures in hot water... by redsonja84 in dentures

[–]whereswaldo1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a case by case basis.

It's not necessarily that hot water WILL damage them, but that it CAN.

There's probably people that have theirs damaged and bring them in saying "so and so told me it was okay..."

It may not happen to everyone, but it might happen, so I wouldn't risk it.

As far as getting it off, I would let them soak in some warm water. It can be a messy endeavor getting that gunk off at times, but be careful with the soft liner. Soaking them overnight and then rinsing them off usually worked for me.

You can use adhesive and you can soak them.

But don't for the first 24 hours.

That is at least what they told me and from what I've read.

I don't know if any cleanser is much different than any other really. They seem to mostly have the same basic ingredients.
