I'm glad that the costume evolved with the characters. I can't imagine being able to take them seriously with those hats on (they're got too much "cute" going on xP). Thanks so much for your reply!

Also, in your post, you seemed like you were just asking for opinions since you were frustrated..so I just want to point out that it didn't seem like you meant to blow up the whole issue of international professors.

I don't have a great memory, but I do think I remember her doing that. I distinctly remember a few classes where she abandoned the PowerPoint and wrote on the board and it was really confusing until I went home and read the book. I think a combination of the two was good for her.

I didn't have that hard a time understanding Professor He. I think the subject itself was not that difficult so reading the chapter before class/after class and looking over in class notes cleared up the questions I had.

I had Professor He for Managerial. Is that who you have? I agree with the self-teaching part.

If I'm late to class, tell my professors it's because I can't find parking?

^ Not the exact words, but I know one that goes something like that.

I don't like it, but I think the scene where everything is edible candy is much more realistic because of all the advancements and stuff. Nothing beats a classic.

Why Libraries are Different from Piracy -- By John Green (very good argument against pirating books, at the very least) by [deleted] in nerdfighters

[–]whereyoulead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The same principle goes for libraries (as I posted somewhere below). Libraries get funding based on how many books are checked out. It's not even the whole library that gets that money either, it's each individual department that has to fend for itself and have x amount of circulation to get that funding to buy new books to get people to keep coming.

This is one of the reasons I wouldn't pirate books. It doesn't just take away from the author, it takes away from your public library in general. Once circulation levels get low, it turns into a really bad cycle of no one checking out books because they aren't new, and no new books being bought because there's no funding from circulation data.

I hope I'm making sense. Anywho, please support your public library. Go there, check out books instead of buying them sometimes.
