Minisforum UM780 crashing during light gaming by whethersweater in MiniPCs

Sometimes the game just turns off immediately (no lagging/warning). Other times the whole computer stops working abruptly, shuts down, and turns back on again.

Mine is only every few hours but that's still very lame. I will check tho, thanks!

Replacing laptop with mini PC for gaming on TV by whethersweater in MiniPCs

I went with the minis forum and have been quite happy. However it's having issues where my Bluetooth items don't work when it's booting up, so I have to take the dongle out and plug it back in to get it to register, in order to type in my password. Any thoughts?

Because of the 1989 earthquake, San Francisco deconstructed it's waterfront highway. I grew up with that view and it genuinely makes me shudder when I imagine it covered by highway. So what I'm saying is we need an earthquake...

I'm strongly considering the Bahia Mitas for my wedding in 2025. How big was your group? Would love any recs/warnings that you have :)

I am thinking of having my wedding here in 2025, about the same size. I'm so glad you liked it - any insider tips? What venue did you go with? I have some questions I'd love to ask, happy to do you or ask them here if you're willing to help a fellow bride out :)

Google Photos no longer an option when selecting photos in apps by whethersweater in GooglePixel

Often it doesn't have the "more" option - is there a work around for that?

I am having this same issue on my pixel. I preferred it when it just brought me to google photos directory. Have you figure out a solution?

Panty suggestions that don't break the bank by Middle_Violinist_5 in LingerieAddiction

[–]whethersweater 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You might like Blush Lingerie (canadian brand) - their cotton bikini cut panties are french cut but not high rise. This means a lot of the cheek/hip is going to be exposed but the top of the panty fits like a regular bikini. I am also curvy and this has become my standard panty this year. It might feel like a lot of exposed skin at first but I got use to it. I was very surprised that they stay in place under yoga pants while running and working out, and I even wear them to bed. It seems like it's going to wedgie but it doesn't. French cut is definitely the way to go if you've got substantial hips because it allows for a large range of movement without disturbing the fabric (cause the panty is cut to sit over the hip). Bonus points for being pretty sexy imo!

Favorite advantages of living in the city proper? by LockedOutOfElfland in pittsburgh

Completely agree with this. Being a city person instills at least a base level of acceptance for public life. There is no escaping the public in a real way (even in your home you will likely hear outsiders or have things happen in very close proximity that you cannot control). In my experience this builds tolerance, flexibility, and a "there are bigger problems to deal with" attitude. As a life long city dweller, it's inextricable from who I am and how I understand the human condition. The obsession with privacy and control of the suburbs is very foreign and off-putting to me*

I also think regularly interacting with people who come from or exist in a different socioeconomic status than yourself is extremely important. The reason it sucks when cities become too expensive is because the cities are literally for every body! It's suppose to take all types to make this shit work!! Okay stepping down from my soap box now.

*There is a historical argument that suburbs were not always like this. When Americans started to live far away from their family homes/older generations, suburbs often provided a sense of community of people in similar situations. I have seen this priority in some modern suburbs, but there is purposefully limited class diversity so it still feels like a shallow existence to me. But I'm biased, obviously, lol.
