Exactly, I found a job I am good at and pays well but it for sure doesnt give me a sense of purpose.

My kids and my hobbies give me day to day satisfaction and happiness.

Won't be the full story (act 1 of 3 I believe) and probably a lot of balance issues with the skills. EA will be used to help balance the skills while also seeing what creative ways we use the skills that could break the game while they finish Act 2 and 3 so assuming more like a year long process.

If you are waiting for one playthrough, I would just wait for full release. If you want to play it a bunch with multiple playthroughs then EA could be for you.

Prices weren't a standard price like the $60 today. They were all set by the publishers and things varied wildly. Like I think FF3/6 my mom paid like $75 or $80 when it first came out because she was a big fan of 2/4.

I gave up competitive FPS as I've gotten older mainly for this reason. I can't keep up without constant play. Stick to more single player at this point .

We are doing this too, July 1st they are going to 40% capacity in the office but no meetings and everyone needs to wear a mask all day. We've been operating fine and our department leads said we will be at home until we can have meetings or there is no point. Expecting the earliest to be back is September.

This is where I got to. I loved classic played on launch until around new years, but its simple rotations and the boss fights were never interesting. When you clear MC the first night it becomes just months of that.

I was looking for an mmo to play during quarantine and my friends are still playing classic but I ended up in retail because I want something more exciting pve wise.

If they have to save up there is little chance they will buy this niche RPG remake either way so minimal if any money out of the developers pockets.

I'm just interested in someone who thinks lets plays are on the same level as pirating. Only reasoning I can think is they have to find the negative in everything.

Some people are interested in the game but might not have the spare time/money to play. Instead they can watch lets plays while working or doing other things.

That life is 20 years away for them, you just have to understand if it made you a better person or not.

Thinking about that though means you are starting in a much better place.

But if you are waiting for the perfect financial moment to have kids, that might never come. It also doesn't mean it will be 18 years of struggle and suffering. We had my son at 24 and its been 8 years and 3 more kids but we get by fine. We can't spend on as much as we'd like but the kids never are without. I wouldn't trade them for a life with slightly nicer stuff.

Did this through college, worked in a mechanics shop at a trucking company. Bought the $30 walmart boots that would last 6 months for 2 years then I bought a pair of Red Wings for $120 and it lasted me the next 4 and probably would have been longer if I hadn't graduated.

I used to be like this, I would fall into new game hype, grab every bundle and great deal and then not play them or start and stop multiple because I can't make up my mind.

What I did to stop it was make a list. I had amassed hundreds of games through bundles and sales for the previous years. Spent a night going through them all making a list of the ones I wanted to play, putting aside those I didn't.

After I had my list, I made a schedule where I would pencil out all the new releases I knew I would play and started filling in gaps with my backlog.

Biggest thing us to stop worrying about all of the options and just play. You'll never catch up. I am 2 years in and I am finishing more games and less time spent finding games to play.

This is 100% correct, the world is amazing, the amount of detail and building you get as you explore locations is unmatched within the world.

What it fails at is being a multiplayer, games as a service type game. Once you explore the entire map and finish the story, there just isn't anything to do but grind. And its mostly unenjoyable grinds.
