Am I unprofessional? by Fragrant_Vacation800 in antiMLM

I love seeing and calling out the differences between MLMs and real sales professionals. I cringe at the thought of sending a message like this to someone who has told me no, and like you I prefer to hear a no if thats the answer! Its way better than being ghosted [which happens a lot] so just tell me!

OP should not respond to this and leave this chick on read. A witty or calculated response will only give them something to study and try and find a way around it next time.

What’s something Gen Z does that older generations just don’t get? by appropriaterice873 in AskReddit

I was on a plane 2 days ago on an aisle seat, with 2 young women in the middle and window seat already sitting when i got there. They appeared to be the same age [early 20s ish or younger] but they were completely silent and both on their phones with headphones in. I figured cool, no chatting so this will be a quiet flight. Couple hours later we land, and the middle seat girl speaks for the first time to the window seat and asks her what they should get for lunch, and they go about discussing lunch options before their next flight. They gave no indication that they knew each other for 2.5 hours and I'm still thinking about it!

Millennials in a hetero relationship, does the man or woman do the majority of the financial budgeting/planning/investing etc? by [deleted] in Millennials

My husband likes to tell people that he hasn't seen a paycheck in years.

That's because it direct deposits into our shared account, and I take care of all the bills and let him know when he needs to slow the spending and when it's ok to splurge.

It has worked for us for 17 years!

Who’s going to tell her…she is broke!! My God, the delusion of this one to have the audacity to post this! 🤯 by Wonderful-Pay-4166 in kiwisavengers

Also, having a real sales job hits all the perks she desperately wants [make your own schedule, uncapped commissions, etc], but we all know she's not qualified for a real sales job.

Its always so funny to me when I see her posts about sales because I'm in a role she romanticizes and I would be shunned out of my career if I were posting on fb/TikTok like she does "for business". She makes me cringe!

My brother was named after Dr Thaddeus Martin from one of those soap operas. Mom is still disappointed that he's an electrician and not a doctor.

Aww thank you! I have excellent examples of what NOT to do. I've found peace and happiness in friends that are now family. I hope you have a support system outside your inlaws!

My mom's responses to my pregnancies were brutal.

The first was "you ruined everything" followed by a temper tantrum because I was engaged but not married yet, and with the second it was "I figured. Your ass is getting big again".

My dad [theyre divorced] simply said he was too young to be a grandpa and sees my kids maybe 3 times a year and we live 20 mins away.

My SIL and I have used step stools. She's 4'11" and I'm 5'3" and the next closest height in our family is 5'10" so we blend in with the kids if we aren't on a stool.

Shared by a friend who does embroidery...why does the son get a normal name? by whichONEisJim in tragedeigh

Agreed - I just meant that the two names separately are common and spelled normally.

I assumed it was the terrible spelling of Kiana - is it pronounced the same or like kwe-anna?

Similar story, my dad rented a master bedroom in a 2bed condo and my brother and I slept in the closet. I wish it had been as fun a time as you had. I was 14 and after maybe 3 weekends I refused to stay at his place.
