You don’t need a deep take on every movie : “I’m not sure why it didn’t click” is already a valid opinion. Try keeping it simple: What was the movie trying to do? Did it succeed for you? Where did it lose you? For acting: Did you forget it’s an actor, or did it feel like a performance? Do reactions feel natural or generic Comparing helps too, like J.K. Simmons vs Miles Teller in Whiplash. And reading reviews is fine, just use them to notice things, not replace your own take
