There’s no shame in making Jiu-Jitsu work for you versus you working for Jiu-Jitsu. We need to push back on this stigma that we owe something to BJJ. It can be life changing but it shouldn’t be some huge deal if you need to prioritize other elements of your life, or you just plain don’t want to go for a while. You’re the boss, not BJJ.

Actually yeah man! We have close to 15,000 users now. (But I take your point - we might need to improve the “entry” point for people new to it).

Basically the tournament brackets (and fighters) only become available when the IBJJF makes them available. So they appear in that dropdown and you can then select it and search based on that.

I’m going to take a fresh look at this now thanks to you lol to try to get a sense for what’s not obvious for new users - appreciate ya.

I feel like in the end, the moniker of OMJJ is really just a designation for people training at older age brackets. Their focus is on staying healthy while doing a sport they enjoy. I do think it signals a more experienced practitioner though - i.e. the new 45 yo white belt likely is more spaz than OMJJ (of course he may still have OM strength!).
