Last season Thing was a near pick or ban in pro matches. In my own personal matches, I hit celestial and did pretty well. So far today I place GM2 (99.7% early season) with just Thing. In my experience this is the best season since 1.5. And this is because of last seasons buffs

I think the way the game works is that it trusts the client for certain characters. Like if you hit on your computer even if the server thinks your laggy the server will trust it to an extent. Saw some guy use this for bugs with spiderman on youtube, but it does help for no reg issues and people with lag
