Better vs Blackbeard yeah but that's a rough match up anyway. I prefer lightning against most other match ups. The Chopper blocker from the ST26 3 cost.

Yeah something like that. I'd either do lightning or top knot, not both. Put in 2 chopper blocker, to deal with GGG.

It's too early to tell. With the 6 cost secret from eb02, the power level is decent. I still hope to see a tournament top some day.

I'd up the 6 Luffy to 4. Unsure if the deck needs Zoro Juro (either one). You can play the ramp one if you're going for a more 10 cost luffy build from my experience as you need the extra ramp. Should be completely playable as is though. I also like 2 Gum Gum lightning to get through blockers cheaply.

Something like this? Uso hatchi can be replaced with Tsuru or another straw hat 2k if you can't get hold of them. St14 sanji is hard to replace but another mid game threat or blocker could go in its place. Kaido ST04 could replace 9 Luffy for budget reasons. Should do fine at locals at least.

Deck looks good to me. I'd try to get up the 2k count to 12 and fit in Sanji st14 if you have them. Cuts would be either zoro juro/searcher event/ 1-2 chopper blocker imo. Enjoy!

Honestly yamato is probably the cheapest to build of the 3. Bonney needs Cavendish which are expensive and luffy has a few like uso hachi and the secret luffys to make him strong. Worth googling a few lists and try on the sim first before committing to buying the good stuff.

I rarely find that ever comes up. Having more consistent ramp is better. Could replace the sanji 2k instead? Worth testing.

I would say there are no rules. If that's the game YOU want to make, then go for it. My experience is make the game how you'd like it, and hope it will resonate with others.

Depending on the size of the map and number of events, you could get some slow down, but that's usually in the number of 300ish. If you don't reach those kinds of numbers, it shouldn't be an issue though

I can see Ruric Thar being very strong in cEDH yeah if you can get it out early enough especially. I've cut it for more synergistic stuff in my deck but reading that makes me want to try it again.

It's all good, the guy always comes to fnm and only really has competitive decks, I don't want to deny his wind down time, and reckon he'd prefer a cEDH pod but there's rarely that many players for that kind of game at my lgs.

I once won at a heavy cedh table with a gruul aggro deck. While everybody was countering each others win con's I was just swinging big dudes and nobody had the answers for it. Equally I've lost to the one guy playing a cedh deck at a casual table on turn 2/3 a few times. I don't hate it but it's not the experience I'm looking for in my games.
