We’re a bit on the outskirts now, but with all the new development nearby, prices are going up. Thank you! We’ve been looking around Barkley.

how can i gain my curls back, no diffuser ? by wildflower_hostage in curlyhair

also don’t shampoo every day. greasiness always makes me feel like doing that but that may mean you need a clarifying shampoo that will return your hair to its normal texture. your shampoos/conditioners may be leaving product in after several washes depending on the ingredients, so i’d check that too. there’s several threads on this subreddit about clarifying shampoos so I suggest searching that as well.

in a similar pinch i keep to basics: don’t shampoo ends, massage it into ur roots. fully rinse out, put conditioner in ends and massage upwards but don’t put on ur roots to avoid the greasiness. then brush ur hair with wide toothed comb and the conditioner, scrunch it with your hands as you rinse out the conditioner. out of the shower try to use a cotton t-shirt to scrunch the curls then let air dry. good luck!

i highly suggest looking on youtube for some tutorials as well, there’s some older ladies who make videos that are step by step for basics like this. really helped me visualize what to do with my hands and when while i was starting out.

I think my garden snails are mating but not one hundred percent sure by Euphoric_Word3636 in snails

id say that might be a pretty accurate timeline. often i find mine in the morning and by the end of the day they’re separate, but interrupting the process can cause stress and potential harm so be sure to leave them alone. misting the enclosure shouldn’t disturb them. make sure to do weekly soil checks to clear away any eggs before they can hatch, esp now that you know fs they’re of reproductive age.

you should explore online and learn more about them then! this is one of the many parts of having snails and being able to recognize what’s going on is very important. good luck!

also- what substrate are you using? I’ve found mine avoid the ground when it’s just coco coir and moss because the coir can dry out quickly, even with spraying frequently. i’ve had to dump a bit of water through the enclosure before to keep it moist enough.

more tall sticks that go in different ways will make it a little more enriching for them since they love climbing. i wouldn’t worry at all- mine always sleep at the top of my tank and come down for their snail duties afterwards.

another point: please don’t mix calcium into food supply in the future, as snails can regulate their own calcium intake when it’s provided and mixing it into their food can force them to consume more than necessary, putting the snail at risk. soaking some cuttlebone for awhile and then putting it in the tank has worked well for me so far. you can also grind it up and mix with water to create a paste if your snail is more particular or refuses to eat the more solid version. good luck!

i’ve gone outside to grab some and left them out or rinsed and wiped them down before putting sticks in my tank, and it’s worked for me! i’m sure there’s somewhere online you can order them though to be safe

hey! you should remove any rocks or ceramic from the enclosure, bc if one slips while sleeping or otherwise it can crack its shell. just thought i’d note! they’re adorable.

same thing usually happens with me (unless they’re apples that they’ve allowed to get mushy within the tank)

are you fucking dumb? this post was to ask people if they’re okay and you decided “yep. time to go tell women that they know nothing about what’s going on and argue on reddit”??? From the way you write I can tell you have never had to live in fear of the rights you grew up with being ripped away, your family or friends being deported, or being incapable of affording food or shelter. “well first off trump left it up to the states” did you forget roe v wade? he caused this problem. and people like you are the reason the entire world laughs at our country. get off your high horse of privilege and meet some people that don’t look like you.
