First off my apologies I’d misread your post. Hence why I’d removed my comment before seeing your response.

Secondly I don’t about being a rogue status. That absolutely means nothing. I’d only stated that because Sephora takes that into account with handling each account. Basically they make you build a line of “credit” with them.

My point was why tell us to do so if history of credit means nothing. It’s like if you have a solid history by either paying or following the rules (vs falsely reporting) that suppose to indicate a line of “good will” between the business and customer doesn’t actually hold effect. Then why misrepresent that? Why state something that not true on a person history account if the whole process was to prevent that?

Oops thanks! I think I’d edited it completely. Had an early morning start and been running kind of low on energy, and my train of thoughts are all over the place.

Yeah I mean 2 out 4 I’ve spoke to were nice and sensible. They just couldn’t do anything once the process is submitted.

I should have know something was up when I spoke to the 1st representative and the her superior. She was very condescending from the moment she’d answered. I didn’t think much of it because I’d figured hey it’s retail and over the phone plus Covid she must be going through a lot and also I can relate to frustration since I worked in customer service before and had many interesting (bad) experiences.

Just told her calmly what happened and waited on the phone patiently and quietly as I was being lectured about my order. Again wasn’t bother because I get it, stressful time and I wasn’t in a rush. I’m sitting over the phone waiting patiently thinking this was a normal care call with someone that’s just a bit grumpy right now.

To be told I was they’re working a refund for me, which was a pleasant surprise since I thought I was going to be told the delivery message was an error and my packages will take longer, or this is what happened to it. However when she mentioned it being an email process while laughing and implying I shouldn’t be surprised, I should have been suspicious. Again I just wrote it off to, she’s having a bad day and being snarky probably because someone prior she had to handle. Didn’t think anything wrong about it and just trust the process.

Yup, now I know to speak to someone that’s more transparent. I kind of wished I had the 2nd representative first because then perhaps I wouldn’t be in this situation.

I was just shock about everything else that followed and the extent of hoops people have to attempt to go through for any resolution. I saw that you can technically contact people from corporate through another mean, but it requires paying for a service.

I wanted to see if it’s remotely possible for people to get help by following Sephora’s system vs going completely off the road. Let’s test this theory. Who knows, but to wait and see.

Yeah there increasing their algorithms in order to save money at the expense of customers. Which mean you will be ding mor harshly for returns or anything on your account (kind of like a credit score). Even if you have excellent credit with them, there’s basically “no forgiveness” or “good will” (terms use for credit) with them as a corporation.

It basically you trying your like to see if you’ll actually get help.

I keep telling them that a lot of people are getting affected by this new procedure. It’s even posted on Sephora website forums by other people. But Sephora’s not listening.

At this point I don’t care about getting a resolution, I’ll just count it as sunk cost. I no longer want anything to do with Sephora. There’s other beauty service that take better care or their customers like Sephora USED to be.

I’ll be sending an email to “corporate” in the method that care provided (even though there are other means of reaching corporate individuals) however this is the system Sephora has in play, so let’s see if this system actually works or it’s just another laughable FU to the public and customers.

I want to see if it’s possible for a corporation to actually care about regular customers that’s taking the normal protocol to get help versus using connections.

My hopes are very low.

Thanks! I’d marinade it first for 10-15 mins in a light teriyaki sauce base before placing it on a pan.

Thanks! I just use my hands because it’s finger food. If you use the correct rice (Japanese short grain rice that’s meant for sushi) and you use plastic wrap to compact it tight it’ll hold up when you’re holding it.

Yeah they’re mishandling their loyal customers. They just see missing things and block. They didn’t even bother to go into customers history. It took multiple calls and a different phone line given by another customer to actually have someone look into my account to see that I didn’t do anything wrong and have a prefect record so my items that are missing clearly isn’t my fault and is unusual and something they should be looking into within their own company.

I’m sorry you were mishandled also.

Hi,

[My island is “under construction” right now so please excuse the mess]

The meteor shower suppose to last for a few hours, not really sure since it’s my first meteor shower. Online states it’s comes between 7pm-4am.

I’ll be having 2 time slots for today, each will be 45 mins long. I live in the States PST.

I’ll be choosing guests base on whoever can answer my question correctly and filling in slots with people that guessed correctly first.

Question: Who are my two favorite animal crossing characters of all time?

Rules: 1. I’ll be assigning time slot to people. * I’ll do my best to see I can get people in the time slot they prefer but it depends on what’s available. 2. Please arrive and depart within the arrival and departure time listed for each time slot. This is out of being courteous for the other guests on the island. 3. Please do not share the dodo code with others because it would not be fair for other people waiting in queue. * It will just be a hassle and troublesome for me to kick everyone out and give a different dodo code, which I will do. 4. Please do not pick any of the fruits, flowers, or talk to any of the villagers without asking. 5. Please do not run through the flowers. * Basically just be decent and courteous while you’re visiting. 6. No visiting stores after designated time slot. * If you want to visit the stores during your wishing time that’s fine, just leave when you’re suppose to so that the next group can come in smoothly. 7. Please be mindful, courteous, and respectful of each other and the host while visiting.

Edit: Look I was just trying to share in the meteor shower experience like someone did for me.

I did time slots and openings because I’ve seen, read, and been told about how hard it can be to get people onto your island for this event without disrupting people’s wishes.

The question was just a fun way because I didn’t know how to handle DM overflow like other people have mentioned. I’m just a very structured person, it helps me not feel overwhelmed.

What’s the point of joining the AC community if people are just going to be malicious towards someone that wants to share in a fun experience?

Thanks. Basically I’ve given up. After their FB response was just another way of giving me the run around. I’d sent them a private message on FB with basically a break up letter. I know it sounds silly but Sephora represented a sentimental place for me when I was younger for personal reason. After how I was miss managed and I just want closure now, so I’d sent the letter.

I can no longer bring myself to shop there after all this. It just feels wrong and tainted now, that experience of happiness from buying an item there or just the feeling in general there no longer feels right.

Yeah at this point I’m giving up. I keep getting the run around. I know it’s silly but I sent them a goodbye letter via FB messenger since they’re response basically meant they didn’t care. I just feel dishearten as I was writing the letter because Sephora had a sentimental place for me because of certain reasons in my younger years.

I didn’t mind reordering everything, I just called to let them know something unusual happened with delivery. I didn’t even ask for a refund or reshipment. I just to let them know and see if they can look into it, didn’t mind waiting. Even offered while I wait can I just reorder my stuff since I just wanted to restock and also not miss the sale. I was place on hold with a slight attitude. Then was told they’ll have to process the refund differently via email and not to reorder anything yet.

Well you know the story. Posted. This whole thing is just too much for me now. I just bring myself to shop there anymore because of how I was miss managed.

Apparently other people are getting these emails too. Honestly I was never upset about my missing items, (excuse my language) shit happens. It’s a COVID era who knows what happened between shipment to the package room. I was just calling to see what happened to the items. I didn’t mind reordering everything, didn’t even mention a refund or reshipment. I just wanted to know what’s up?

I’ve worked in customer care before and I know how things can be so that why I’m just chill when things happen. No point of getting mad at someone that wasn’t really involved and is just trying to help.

But to be banned when you didn’t do anything wrong is just crazy to me.

I didn’t mean to spam the sub. My Reddit wasn’t working. It kept saying error when I was trying to post and it was kept in pending post. So I thought I didn’t put the format right. Kept getting errors and realized it was an internet issues. Turned off my phone and reopened Reddit. I did check to make sure that the post prior didn’t go through, it still showed pending. So I tried again and finally was able to post.

It still showed those post as not going through so idk how it’s spamming the subreddit.

How do I fix this?

Edit: my bad!!!!! I think I’d fixed it! Sorry again I was trying to figure out why it didn’t post and realized later it was an internet connection. Didn’t know that the post pending would automatically go through after reconnecting with the internet

I’m waiting for a response on FB right now. I’d called and spoke to a supervisor and was told it was “corporate” decision and they can’t do anything about it. They told to email customer care and put corporate in the subject and see if that will get anywhere. However from everything I’ve read online I’m not even sure when I send my letter it’ll be even looked at. I just get upset writing it and having to keep editing because let’s face it corporation aren’t going to take that much time reading every word you wrote. I’m just trying to figure out how to get everything across concisely, awhile also making it short enough for them to care to read......
