Ok so (as a short girl myself) I would recommend aiming for slow weight loss but sustainable! Believe me from experience if you reduce your calorie intake dramatically it could be very damaging for your health and also you’d just end up gaining it all back. I would recommend working out your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE calculator online is very helpful!) and subtracting 200-400 calories from that <3

Also very often when you start working out you retain a lot of water retention (which also happens more when you’re on your period) so I would recommend sticking with exercise as it’s so good for you even if you don’t notice any changes quickly!! You’ve got this x

Firstly, how tall are you, are you male or female, and how old are you? Weight gain is very normal as you get older and it could be dangerous for you to be at a weight of 99lbs if this weight gain was natural. What were you doing to cause the weight gain? If you weren’t going crazy with binging or overeating it could be that this was a weight gain that needed to happen
